Valve has been encouraging a gambling mafia - Coffeezilla expose; Valve used legal workarounds to finance a gambling mafia with CSGO skins

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
It warms my heart to see unanimous support for gambling and "money laundering"
That said, gambling addiction has horrifying consequences and I believe that casinos and other gambling institutions are acting immorally by not discriminating against addicts
As in, it is ethically permissible and therefore not illegal in my book, but I will condemn it on moral reasons

And people should care why exactly as long as they provide a good service?
Yupp, who cares if some degens lost their shit. Just don't become a BJM cracka'roski larper and everything should be fine. I have been in the CS trading scene for long enough to know that people who "gamba" and lose their stuff are often retards of the lower part of the worlds gene pool. I will get shit for saying this, but gambling is a good economic filter to make sure morons don't get a financial leverage. It filters out 99.99999% of them and you allow a handful of few to be rich (for a short time) until they crash too.

> inb4 you got skins, stop sucking off gabben
My inventory is not an "investment", it's just an hobby that happen to have a value (LMAO, due to gamba). If it loses its value it would suck, but my life is not dependent on it. It's literally just NFT's or Token trading with Valve handling the back-end, that's it (I trust Valve more than I do any crypto exchange site and paypal). People need to stop crying about it.

Money laundering makes the United States and the whole world function properly.
This is the exact reason for why most Western nation don't hunt down all "black markets" and other so called illegal markets since it's a buffer in case they (the government...) needs something "shaddy" themselves. Money laundering and black markets are only a problem when normies uses it to avoid taxes and when items are at the risk of ending up in the "wrong hands".

If you get addicted to Gambling then you are fucking retarded.
This, I had a "phase" when I thought it should be banned and so on... until I realized it's a mechanism that keeps people that should not have money away from having money.

At no point does he mention that it's the job of parents to keep their children out of things they shouldn't have. No, instead, it's the job of every other entity in the universe to do your fucking job as a parent. Yeah, "Valve doesn't do anything unless legally pressure". Oh no, they are... following the laws! The horror!

Reminder, not only did Valve ruin CS with their shitty skinner box bullshit, but they ruined TF2 with it as well
With how much money they've been making off these skins and hats, I am absolutely not surprised.
Oh, but Steam is le based, so we can't call them out on it, even tho when EA tried to do something similar they quite literally forced an international government intervention that almost killed loot boxes for good.

Let me know when your hat and skin collection gains any real value and maybe I'll care about your opinion. Cancer is cancer, it doesn't matter if your e-daddy or EA practices it, it's the same thing.
The actual cancer is Soyny, and they're losing people to PC, which basically means my e-daddy Steam. Cry all you like, I wanna watch them die :story:

First it's EA now it's Soyny. Pretty much everyone but Valve, then.
They're just as shitty, and if they didn't strike gold with Steam, they would be no better off than those two. At least EA and Soyny can make a decent game once in a decade, they can count to three as well.

You mentioned up EA, I just commented on it. EA is trash but at least it doesn't effect the industry as much as Steam or any if the console manufacturers.

Soyny is going on a decade since their last good game, clock is ticking.

If parents are letting their kids use their credit cards for some stupid shit why would Valve bother that kids are getting into gambling due to lack of parental interest? If I had a kid playing CS2 all day long I would literally disinherit them.

This shit about gambling addiction of youth is only a matter in US where nobody cares what happens with their credit cards and they holding few dozens of them in a wallet.
