Vampire masquerade won’t play because of firewall on steam

DXWND is a program that’s pretty good at emulating older architecture, especially around the dx9 era. Basically a sequel/nextgen to DOSBOX. Just add a shortcut to the game and find a preset from their library (or fuck around with settings if you know what you’re doing)

One thing I’ve encountered is modern AMD processors cannot emulate anything before Windows 7, so check your rig specifics to see if you have emulation/legacy issues on the hardware side.
