Well, it wouldn't be much of a community watch thread if some of the more interesting members of the community weren't covered.

LynLatex does not appear to fall in the pedo category that so many who use the site seem to fall into, however this user has their own quirks that make them interesting. With a photo album of almost 500 images, most bondage related, this is a person who is quite immersed in the BDSM community.

Whilst hanging out in the VF chat this little nugget popped up out of the blue. I guess when actual crimes are associated with your site you need to take a lot of precautions to ensure no other fucktards draw more attention to you. Here, in it's entirety, is their excessive as fuck chat rules.

FLASH CHAT RULES/GUIDELINES



Please read the FAQ and Definitions Pages.

Notes:

If there is not an admin present, please send an inbox with evidence to any staff listed in the cult, keep in mind not all staff is present consistently and your complaint may not be seen in time.

Staff does not and will not show screenshots provided to us as evidence to non-staff members. This is to respect the privacy of those who make the report, and to prevent ongoing drama.

If you make a report without a screenshot we will not be able to act on it. If you have a complaint, provide evidence. We do not act on "he said, she said" BS. Evidence is required if you expect action, and it is still up to the discretion of the staff involved.

Consistently pushing ANY of the rules -can- get you muted and/or banned from chat!!

INSTANCES OF CYBER BULLYING (EXCESSIVE TROLLING/HARASSMENT/DEROGATORY COMMENTS/KILL YOURSELF COMMENTS/ETC) WILL NOW FACE STRICTER BANS, EVENTUALLY ENDING IN PERMA-BAN FROM CHAT

RULES:

  1. We will enforce the Terms of Service (ToS) without question or prejudice, within the limitations of the chat room, and our abilities.
    1. Please read the ToS


  2. Keep it PG-14!
    1. No nudity, pornographic images or cybersex. (Underwear is allowed in 18+ and 21+ ONLY.)
    2. Users will be muted and then kicked or banned for repeat offenses.


  3. No racial slurs or racist comments.
    1. Do not use special characters (i.e. N*gge*, n*****, etc) or numbers (i.e. n1gg3r, etc) to replace letters in racial slurs.
    2. Users will be muted, and kicked or banned for repeat offenses.


  4. No excessive flaming or drama. (See Definitions page)
    1. Do not bully, harass or discriminate against users, users' family, pets, etc.
    2. Do not make derogatory remarks against users, users' family, pets, etc. based on religion, sex, sexual preference, sexual identity, size or disability. THIS INCLUDES BEING SEXIST.
    3. Do not sexually harass users.
    4. Do not message users in chat, PM or whisper after being asked to stop.
    5. Do not encourage the bashing of others.
    6. Users will be muted, and kicked or banned for repeated offenses.


  5. All fonts must be able to be read.
    1. Do not use a black font (mobile users exempt), small fonts, or character fonts.
    2. Do not use an obnoxiously large font.
    3. Most fonts sizes should be between 12 and 15PT; size will vary depending on font.
    4. Users who do not fix their fonts after a warning from Chat Staff will be muted. If the font is not fixed, the user is then kicked, and banned, for repeat offenses.


  6. No excessive caps.
    1. After 5 consecutive lines, a user will be muted. Continuation after a mute will warrant in a kick or ban.


  7. No fake ages in age related rooms.
    1. Users will be kicked or banned from the room with no warning.


  8. Do not encourage users' to cut, self-harm, or die.
    1. Do not tell another user to die, cut themselves, etc.
    2. Do not threaten a user in any way. (i.e. threaten to harm them, get them into trouble, etc.)
    3. Do not show cutting or self-harm on cam.
    4. Users will be muted, and then kicked or banned if continued.


  9. Do not wish, imply, or otherwise express harm, death, disease, or disability on users'; users' family or pets; etc.
    1. Do not wish, imply, threaten, or suggest suicide, death, harm, disease, or disability on users.
    2. Do not wish, imply, threaten, or suggest suicide, death, harm, disease, or disability on users' family, pets, etc.
    3. Users will be muted, and then kicked or banned if continued.


  10. Do not discuss how to commit illegal activities.
    1. Do not encourage a user to commit illegal activities.
    2. Do not use illegal drugs on cam (Per U.S. Laws), do no discuss drug use via audio or text. (See definitions page)
    3. Marijuana and other "legal" drugs are only allowed in 18+ and 21+.
    4. Users will be muted, and kicked or banned for continuating.


  11. If you are over the age of 18, do not hit on or flirt with minors (users under the age of 18).
    1. If you are under 18, do not bait adults (users over the age of 18).
    2. There is a 2 year flex of age, however we will not tolerate sexually explicit conversations between an adult and a minor regardless of this.
    3. Users will be kicked or banned.


  12. Do not spam/flood the chatroom with links, characters, etc. (See definitions page)
    1. Users will be muted. Continuation after the mute will results in a kick or ban.


  13. No obvious drinking on cam.
    1. Do not show alcoholic beverage labels on cam.
    2. Drinking is allowed in 21+.
    3. No underage drinking (per US laws).
    4. Do not discuss/encourage underage drinking.
    5. Users will be muted. Continuous offenses will result in a kick or ban. Being drunk or under the influence is not an excuse for violating the rules.


  14. Do not go into chat on an account that is not yours.
    1. Do not share your log-in information with anyone.
    2. Users will be kicked or banned.


  15. Do not evade a ban with another username.
    1. Use of a proxy to evade a ban will result in a longer ban time.
    2. Users caught ban evading will be re-banned for a longer duration.


  16. Do not discuss hacking the chatroom/site.
    1. Do not discuss or threaten hacking a user.
    2. Do not discuss or threaten DOXing a user.
    3. Users will be muted. Continuation will result in a kick or ban.


  17. Leave your personal drama/issues/vendettas outside of chat.
    1. Users will be muted and then kicked or banned for continuation.


  18. Universal English in all rooms except Europe, Netherlands, Latin America/Spanish.
    1. Users will be muted and then kicked or banned for continuation.


  19. Do not argue about the rules with staff.
    1. Do not push the rules.
    2. Users will be muted, kicked, or banned based on offenses.


  20. The Dungeon is password protected, admin voted access only, password is only to be provided by MyMentalHell.
    1. What happens in the dungeon stays in the dungeon.
      • any "leaks" of the going-ons in there will lead to a permaban
      • this includes screenshots, conversations copied/pasted, photos shared, video shared, etc.


    2. This chat room is unmoderated; admin are present for socialization and to ensure no unauthorized users are present.
    3. If the password is shared by any users, that will lead to a permaban, and the chat password will be changed, all users' permissions will be reset.


  21. Trollololol is an unmoderated chat room for users over the age of 18.
    1. This chat room is unmoderated; admin are present for socialization and to ensure no minors are present.
    2. The only mutes/kicks/bans should be for minors or ban evaders if any staff is muting/kicking/banning adult users who are not ban evading (not accidentally, that happens people) please screenshot this and report it to MyMentalHell

[2014-08-04] Users sleeping on cam at risk of exposing themselves will be muted and un-muted.

[2014-08-04] If warranted, IP bans will be placed without regard on users who share an IP with a banned user who is a continual trouble maker, persistent troll, or pedo.

ADDENDUMS:

Arguments, will happen, and staff knows this. We will not intervene unless we feel a line has been crossed. User your common sense: If someone said that to a stranger's face; is it likely they'll get their ass beat for it? If so, don't say it. If we catch wind of it, or see it, you'll likely earn yourself at the very least, a mute... likely a kick or ban.

People can be insulting, and this world is insulting, we need to moderate at what point does brutal honesty or sharing an "opinion" become bullying. This is a fine line, and this is changing as people find new and innovative ways to be assholes.

Arguments don't always require intervention, and if you're a user who complains a lot about being 'bullied' we will be less likely to continue to take the complaints seriously and consider you over-sensitive (e.g. the boy who cried "wolf").

If you have an issue with a rule, contact Chat Staff with your complaint, and if we have enough complaints, we will consider altering the rule.

Bans will not be lifted without irrefutable proof (screen shots according to the screen shot rules).

If you're going to ask a ban to be lifted due to an "accident" you must ask the admin involved to request that the admin who accidently banned you send a request toMyMentalHell for your ban to be lifted. MyMentalHell will not lift "accidental" bans on users unless the admin who issued the ban sent the request.

Users who have broken rules similarly or who have been members for a long enough time to be aware they're breaking the rules will immediately get a ban at the discretion of the admin.

AFTERWORD:

If you feel that you have had any disciplinary action unjustly dealt on you, or that your complaints have been ignored, you can contact any of the senior chat staff (e.g. Katanshin, MyMentalHell, Draconis, etc.) and the Chat Staff team will investigate your complaint.

Chat staff often watch several rooms at a time and cannot always be present to see issues as they occur. Many of the chat staff will watch a situation if they're unsure of what is going on and who is at fault. Keep in mind staff are also human, and we do the best we can to make your chat experience enjoyable. Be polite, to the point, and provide as much information and evidence as you can. We will handle your complaint in the same manner in which you made it. We do not get paid to do this, and we do not have to tolerate abuse any more than you do.

Please remember that this is a privately owned an operated website, and when you created your profile you agreed to our Terms of Service to join. It states exactly that VampireFreaks (owned by Synth-Tec) "may terminate your membership, delete your profile and any content or information that you have posted on vampirefreaks.com and/or prohibit you from using or accessing vampirefreaks.com for any reason, or no reason, at any time in its sole discretion, with or without notice."

Which means a premium membership will not give you special treatment, privileges, nor immunity. Your "freedom of speech" or anything along those lines is invalid, and if we feel you are disruptive to the chat it is within our rights to remove you from chat at any time for any duration as we see fit.


THERE IS AN IGNORE FEATURE FOR A REASON -- USE IT.

To be fair, on VF, a "cult" is just like a group on facebook. It's a stupid name, but you'll find plenty of those on VF.

Ah, Vampire Freaks... Say what you like about them, but they recently put out some damn good hairdye... Still, I'm glad I was never active enough to get pulled into any of the weird shit... and that I pretty much left by 14...
If anybody wants to keep me posted on some of the stranger stuff that's been happening on there, feel perfectly free. That place is like the edgelord cousin of myspace, complete with being ten years out of date.

Somehow Nightmare Before Christmas comes across as 'Dr. Seuss Presents: The Emo Kid from Across the Lane.' If they really wanted to watch something steeped in emo, Seventh Seal would be a better (bleaker?) choice; no songs and a knight plays chess with Death. It has everything you can ask for!
