I used to follow her on DA. I thought she was quite good at rendering unconventional body shapes and she had some interesting concepts for the creatures she came up with.

But her transgender nonsense was off-putting and I was eventually blocked. She'd bitch at people in the comments section of her drawings for making the mistake of misgendering her characters (because a huge-dicked beefdog with moobs is obviously a girl, duh!)

This is probably the least offensive thing they've done or said. In fact I think it's quite lovely.

oh man this person. i've followed them for a while and i've always liked their art, but i knew they were a drama cow underneath it all. i'm wringing my greasy little hands together with delight at finally seeing it all out in the open.

couple things i've noticed from following them through the years.
1. they have this weird thing about receiving fanart. they refuse to accept fanart unless it's from friends. it just seems really dickish to me.
2. that deerbait kid they're dating is like, 18 or 19. there was some bullshit going on about how vcr was grooming deerbait and their relationship was pedophilic because deer's so young. vcr came out and said 'lol i'm 22 guys calm down' but that's a big ol' lie. i started following them in like 2014 when i was 21, i remember looking up to them and aspiring to be like them because they were a little older than me. i think they claimed to be 23 back then? so who even knows how old they are right now but i'd guess they're closer to 30 than to deerbait's 19. it's not pedo, but it's still pretty creepy, especially since they've been talking to deerbait since deer was a minor. deerbait's art style looks exactly like vcr's, which goes into my next point.
4. vcr is awfully full of themself. whenever they buy commissions they always commission artists with styles nearly identical to theirs.
5. they had some really nice character designs in the past, which is why i started following them. going through their old FA is a real trip. it's weird seeing all these colorful and interesting designs all turn into hairy fetish gremlins with fleshy monsterclits. for example, that opal character used to look like this : https://www.furaffinity.net/view/15492394/

6. i don't like picking on peoples' appearances but this is something i just have to bring up. i have no idea what happened but they used to weigh 95 lbs as little as 4 years ago. they've since deleted those old selfies but i'm just so fricking curious about what happened to make them gain so much weight. they've always been unfortunate looking, though.

This also struck me as weird and conceited when I first followed them. Like, ok, maybe getting some random fanart might be a little shocking, but outright denying fanart is just to me, ungrateful. At least PK accepted fan art for her attention whoring. VCR is just straight up smelling her own farts.

This is a reason why I followed them as well. But looking at Opal then and now is really painful. Her design was extremely cute and simple and now it's... wouldn't you call this transfetishism or something similar to it? I mean I still enjoy how unconventional his body shapes can be and how he does "ugly" characters (gotta match that personality lmao) but even this is a straight up tragedy.

Eh, I'm okay with that. Better be honest and deny fanarts from people you don't know, than lie to them you like their pic, when you clearly don't.
Some people also use bigger artists for promotion and don't actually care about character they draw. Make a picture of a popular artist's oc -> they reblog it -> profit -> repeat.

That, and there are those who try to make fan art for people with the not-so-subtle hope that they'll get art in return from them as well.

Old selfies are still on Twitter. They took meds for BPD so that caused the initial weight gain.
