The screenshot below is about stuff that happened in 2005 so maybe she changed her views since then but, I must say that her advocating the death of all gay people is quite jarring considering how she thinks that eating meat makes someone a soulless murderer. Then she probably hasn't changed her ways. Only concealed it so not everybody on the internet can read her opinions about gay people. I mean, she's making money off of vegans who are not Hitler, so why would she openly admit to hating homosexuals?

I wonder if any of these comics address the argument "I don't really value animal life on the same level as human" because usually their isnt really a counter argument for that outside of emotives. Mind you vegans usually freak out when I mention I used to work in a slaughterhouse, although one was really surprised about how more humane UK slaughtering rules are than those crappy peta vids from Mexico

I don't think she's homophobic anymore. Which is fair enough she still seems comfortable othering people however.

This one is wrong on so many levels it's hard to articulate. Not in the least because we are superb predators even without tools.

No one making the "humans are hunters" argument would say that we can't hunt naturally; it's more that we invented tools to do it better. Humans are actually pretty bitchin' endurance predators all on our lonesome. (There was a great discussion of this in the militant vegan thread, IIRC.)

BTW, surprising lack of domestication-related content so far. Normally loons like this are all "Release the cows!" and claiming harvesting honey is slavery. But if this person has a pet dog, she doesn't seem to be anti-domestication all that much ... I'm even more confused now.

Also fails to mention that carnivorous diets may, very well, have helped jump start brain development in our earliest ancestors, such as Homo ergaster or even as far back as Australopithecus. Simply put, meat is vastly superior brain fuel than any sort of vegetable matter. They just tend to turn their consumers into vegetables.
