Yeah, I was really excited for this game and my biggest fear was that they'd fuck up the combat by making the survivors simply too strong. Hey, look what happened! The LGBT stuff is eye-rolling but I don't care if the underlying game is good.

I might play a game and see what's up myself but I don't have high hopes.

I'd just like to point out that the all time high player count is 4,812. Which, okay, that sounds okay but keep in mind that this is a FREE game and it's only done very slightly better than Resident Evil Resistance which is a $40 game*.

Unless VHS suddenly and inexplicably becomes a meme the game is dead in the water. I can keep going with player numbers: Last Year the Nightmare got 3,662 players. Friday the 13th had 16 thousand all time high. Hide or Die was 717 players.

And no one but hackers are playing this shit on the Epic Gay Store.

VHS got the clout at the high of the DbD killer exodus and came to public beta after DbD made a huge killer buff that's bringing them back.

Although :optimistic:, I reckon if the survivor main tantrum over the patch doesn't subside, it's possible they may exodus to VHS because it seems like the perfect game for toxic bully squads to make the monster a huge bitch.

I could see the whole pride thing VHS team trying to draw in the woketards from DBD. And by starting it in the closed beta they likely trying to not look desperate as hell.

Big time doubt, sir. VHS has a massive problem retaining killer players. The survivor babies crying about Dead Hard getting nerfed might switch over and then immediately switch back once they see the 20+ minute queue times.

The player numbers continue to drop and it's less than a week since launch. I must stress that this is a free to play game on fucking Steam. It's not like it's exclusive to EGS or Origin or Uplay or some other crap that has fewer people on. I know it's on EGS but it's not an exclusive and I doubt there's much if any people aside from hackers playing it on EGS but I think even the hackers would call a quits over the lack of players.


4,812 peak last Tuesday afternoon on the fucking weekend it's under 4K on Friday and barely 3,500 at peak hours on Saturday. That's fucking pathetic.

The devs put out a little state of the union making more promises and promoting tranny streamers:

Yeah, all of those balance changes nerfed the monster side while the teen side got a slap on the wrist.

If you click the Medium link you can see the new survivor they're hyping up, a black nerd pandering character that they're making a big deal is either 12 or 13-years-old.

Another schadenfreude post (then again, this whole forum is designed out of schadenfreude). The player count is still going down. It's down to slightly above 3 thousand players at peak hours a week into the launch. The queue times for Teens now reach an average of 40 minutes:

I saw a comment somewhere that summed up VHS pretty well: imagine a game designed by survivor mains in DbD and it would be this one.

The faggots who once cheered on the devs and shouted down those dared to question the narrative have finally realized (too late of course) that the game is fucked.

I give it a month or two before they pull the plug. It doesn't fucking matter if they add a new monster (the killer robot) if no one enjoys playing the role.

We're just over 3 weeks since the launch and at peak hours the player number have dropped to 1488. And I'm NOT making this up!

I should point out that even if/when they launch the new killer that it won't matter at all. DbD is releasing Wesker from Resident Evil in a few weeks (he's playable now in a Player Test Build).

Might as well pour one out for the mere idea of a Asymmetrical Killer game other then DBD at this point.

Evil dead is good, question is will it stay active? I wont hold my breather for the other two quite yet.

But this the thing. 1 game out of what 10-15 so far has been good, and didn't shit its self. The mere idea is still pretty much dead with this kind of track record. :story:
