Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

Looking through "SUPREME COURT OF TEXAS INTERNAL OPERATING PROCEDURES" (archive), I found that the request for review is forwarded to the Supreme Court of Texas the first Tuesday after a waiver of response is filed.

That means, at earliest, the court will see Vic's request on Tuesday the 22nd
The case was forwarded to the Judges and Vic's request is currently under review by the Justices

Well, I guess Vic can have a nice Thanksgiving before they deny him cert the following day. Oh well.
Work-up by staff means reading the entire case file and then writing a memo on it, something unlikely to happen by this Friday. Clerks and judges have holidays too.
Serious orders consistently (this month) drop on Friday. Less serious ones usually drop on Tuesday, though they sometimes address one or two Writ of Mandamus' in between the Friday and Tuesday
So I assume a grant of cert. is important, but is a denial? Any idea of the general turnaround length between a calendar entry like this and a grant or denial? Does SCOTX have a cert. pool like SCOTUS?

If you don't know and don't want to look it up, never mind. I might look into it myself if it's not just an instapunt.

Denials seem less important. Other than that, I'm genuinly unsure, I only had given their order lists a few brief looks
If this lasts a couple weeks (which it probably should considering this fucked up record probably deserves a bit of review), it might be worth a survey of sorts.

They aren't gonna let some weird Chinese cartoon voices interrupt their Thanksgiving plans. I think it'll take at least a few weeks at minimum. Maybe before Christmas.

Order for today released. Does not concern Vic, though the order list is updated as more orders come out (if they do)

Edit: Court closed until Monday. Nothing Vic related came out today. Sad face
Your link's jacked up, dude

Extraordinarily unlikely as it is, it will be hilarious if a 2019/2020 Weeb Wars meme, that anime and Vig Gaypants Mignogna will become supreme court law in Texas, actually comes to pass.
