  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I’ll never understand those sorts of people. If I got my hands on a lost anything, I’d be publishing it everywhere I possibly could before you could say “die Null.”
It's usually because those people get off from the power of being the only person in the world who has some specific "ULTRA-RARE" consumer product. Other times, they think they can one day flip it for thousands of dollars from someone desperate enough to fundraise buying said lost McGuffin.

XKeeper, it's far past time to admit you have a problem that won't get any better by continuing down the road you're on. Deep down, you know that all the negative commentary you've gotten from others is simply because they've been hurt by you, just in the same way you've been hurt. It's a cycle of pain and disassociation that will only end in your death--and the longer you keep this up, the more people will actually look forward to it.

You're not the only one hurting, deep down; you are the one who can stop this, if you really want.
The problem is that stopping this isn't what this narcissist prick wants. What he wants is to goon in women's panties, keep his power trip over a hobbyist website doing, and keep treating people like shit because it gets him off.

You can't fix him bro.

Unless they are IP banning people it's probably not permanent. Even then IP bans can be circumvented if you have a dynamic IP. If not, you have to call your ISP and ask for one. I know because years ago when I was younger, I got IP banned from a site. I would just change the IP address and make a new account. You can do it by just unplugging your modem.
The other thing with dynamic ips is that it means it's more likely someone will get banned for nothing because their IP changed to someone else's. I'm retarded so I don't know if that's right I'm just basing this off being banned on 4chan for posts I didn't make multiple times lol

You're going by the assumption that XCreeper has any capacity for even acknowledging that other people besides him exist, and we already know he's incapable of that. Further, even if he were to read your message, he'll just be convinced to go full neck-deep into suicide baiting. In fact, that's a given.

I don't get why he's trying to limit people from viewing page source and scraping, he's fighting a losing battle. The very concept of a wiki requires people to have access to the page source so he's just delaying the inevitable unless he practically kills his site by locking it so hard that new contributors aren't a thing anymore.

I guess he doesn't care because his wiki is already stagnant with high-profile editors who know how to work wikicode, templates, files, moves, and redirects gone with to-do lists piling up sky high.

They are a great textbook example of the average discordfag. They only live to be extremely controlling with their beloved ban/kick button and tear down others for no fucking reason. While getting rid of whatever actual contributors there were for any community just because they can. The internet and the world would be a genuinely better place without their needlessly cruel ilk.

It's funny because even if you dump the rom it's still a one of a kind that some crazy ass collector will still pay you out the ass for if you have an original prototype or one of only a handful of copies. These people literally are just insufferable for no reason.

I'm still mad at TCRF for their coverage of Jimmy Johnson's VR Football '98. Some guy on /vr/ noticed there was a password protected zip file on the disc, someone else cracked it and it contains the full source code of the game, including funny comments like this:

C:
/* if(Mirrored == TRUE) what in the @#$%^& is this, nick?!?
Mirrored = FALSE;
else if(Mirrored == FALSE)
Mirrored = TRUE; */
Mirrored = !Mirrored; // Nick, please take a course in Boolean algebra

If they wanted to preserve history, they'd link to the original thread. Instead, the TCRF page is incredibly barebones and they'd never want to credit /vr/ (a very innocuous board) because all of 4chan is evil in their relativist morality. Fuck TCRF, I bookmarked this one but who knows how many other fun stories get lost to history.

And all it would take is {{source|[https://archive.is/TTJUF 4chan /vr/]}}, adding a tiny little footnote that most people never even notice. lmao what a bunch of pussies

Because he's a troon, and troons are power hungry egomaniacs. The troon already destroys his body with hormones and surgeries, so it makes sense he will destroy a project even if some enjoy it. Troons are the happiest when someone is miserable as themselves, so it makes since why they enjoy wrecking shit.

Ok so as of yesterday, anything more than about a file a minute from the same directory will get you IP banned. Also, opening the 'View Source' tab more than 4 or 5 times in any given session regardless of time will also get you IP banned. no matter how well you disguise your viewing patterns. They've become very paranoid and very proactive.
...how do they plan to police this? what counts as a session? is the site phoning home to tell the server when you closed your browser?

for every nuke keeper adds on, the proverbial flea he is nuking will always find a way to dodge it. scrapers are good at adapting to anti scraping measures, for sure.

inb4 keeper makes you install a special monitoring program on your pc (think Dead by Daylight mandating that you run Easy AC along with the game) whenever you want to browse the cutting room floor.

I can't even access the site over Tor exit nodes anymore, it used to display the standard VPN block screen but now it just drops the connection entirely. I guess this is so people don't shit up Xkeeper's access logs. What a shame, I wanted to spam garbage referer headers from random tor exits.

My apologies for the redundant post as I just made one, but...how will xkeeper add his malware into internet archive links from before the drama? lol have fun changing that. he may be able to get it off the wayback but archive.ph is known for refusal to bow down to his egotistical brethren.

Why are you giving XKeeper ideas?

There is no malware involved, just rate limiting which is a common feature of web servers where requests made in quick succession are dropped by the server. In this case though, it drops the request and blocks the IP.
