Are videogames for children?

I can't seem to find that claim on my feed other than people finding that Hit Detection has offices in Tokyo and that his head consultant has privated his account.
Supposedly Hit Detection listed the devs as a client.

Maybe I should take this to another thread, but more supposed SH2 Remake news. The only physical copy is the Standard Edition, with the digital versions having exclusive cosmetics. Said cosmetics include a pyramid head pizza box mask, and a Robbie the Rabbit mask. For those that don't know Silent Hill, Robbie the Rabbit was the mascot in SH3. Not SH2.

I misunderstood your claim then. I do see drama on my sphere and it's not pretty how some fellow hispanics are catching up with DEI and their practices.

I'm like 20 hours into DD2 and finding it very mid.

Can anyone confirm if the following monsters from DD1 were cut because I haven't found any yet.

Chimera
Hydra
Fat undead
Gargoyle
Chimera and fatties are still in, they only appear in certain locations. Hydra and gargoyle are gone, smadge. DD2 is pretty mid; honestly, but so was the OG DD1 on seventh gen consoles. Hopefully, they Dark Arisen this bitch with the almost certainly soon to be announced DLC.

Who the fuck are these "modern audiences" refer to? Can they give a definite example of that?
You can also replace "audiences" with "politics" and all of it falls into place. It's not about catering to any actual audience, it's about adhering to a political ideology and - ideally - forming public opinion in support of it. I don't think the poster above me is necessarily wrong, but they aren't exactly chasing those audiences. Those are people that buy these things despite the politically motivated self-sabotage. The actual audience they're catering to doesn't even buy their games.

No, you're right. It's not confirmed, but highly likely.

As we're seeing once again for, what is it, the third time this year? Does Hit Detection listing the devs as a client until confronted with it, then locking down all websites and social medias when confronted with it count as proof? For me, it's good enough, especially with what we've seen of the game so far.

Just finished Shadow Tower: Abyss on Steam Deck with the Eng Patch. I feel like I need a cigarette and 6 months rest before I try and start tackling the Kings Field series. Although I must admit mapping some of the controls to the decks extra buttons made the experience much less painful. Great game though

Decided to play mirrors edge and finished it. Honestly the game wasnt all that great tbh, the movement felt super janky due to the first person views the controls dont help ( or atleast on ps3 )

Does anyone else here have a chronic Steam backlog?

Why can’t I stop autistically replaying modded setups of Fallout 3 and Skyrim? I fucking loved Disco Elysium. But I keep going back to Bethesda slop like a brainwashed moron.

Am I the only one?!

Fallout 3
🤮

Nah though your not the only one I've been redoing fallout NV with a bunch of mods and I did do skyrim after I played and hated starfield. I was gonna try 4 even though its a pos maybe find some mods.

Problem is only bethesda really makes open world rpgs like that.

I keep looking longingly at Borderlands 2, Witcher 3, Ghost of Tsushima, RE4R, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Cyberpunk 2077, Judgement and Baldur’s Gate 3 in my Steam library…

“…Hey you, you’re finally awake. You walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there.”

I actually enjoyed cyberpunk 2077, the dlc was very good I enjoyed working for the CIA . I haven't tried Witcher though since it seems like the mods are lacking and tbh I only got Skyrim for the mods. Not really into the whole fantasy thing. I've done a couple playthroughs of it but I think at this point I've caught all the content I missed and there really aren't any mods that add new missions.

The big issues I have with xbox controls is they STILL use convex face buttons instead of flat or concave ones, the joysticks are still misaligned and the dpad isnt a dpad its a flat joystick, theres no axial locking.
Series X D-pads are proper D-pads.

After about four hours of Dust: An Elysian Tale (split over two days), I've completely lost interest in it. I'm glad I got it on sale, because I don't think I'm going to bother finishing it. The combat sucks and the story is boring. I got to a part where some side character I never actually met died, and I just skipped the cutscene of his kid mourning and then the following cutscene of his funeral, because I just couldn't give a shit.
Dust is a weird one. It's like, it appears to be a good game on the outset, but it's not at all. It's just so boring. I can't even put my finger on exactly why.

I liked Braid but it's not "$20 for a 15 year old game" good.
I paid full price when it was new and I still felt like I got ripped off. Increasing the price by $5 is just lol. It's not total cancer, but I just felt like I got tricked into buying a Newgrounds flash game for how little there was to it.

Did You Know? The amount of "bits" you'd always see old video game consoles advertised as having refers to the specific amount of microchips, capacitors, and other individual "objects" (or, "bits") that were attached to that video game console's printed circuit board!
