Pro tip, an 80% hit rate is really 50% and a 50% hit rate is essentially 0-10%

No, they're accurate.

In the second article, based on about 250 shots, the game's expected value of hits was 180, while 191 shots actually landed. This well within the range of what you expect to see from a fair RNG. They get a lot more granular, and the TL;DR is that nothing was inconsistent with a fair RNG.

Fair RNG just feels immensely awful to the human psyche.

Play it on easy. The game is intended to troll people who were really good at Xcom EU.
 
Ok so I'm not really sure where to post this, but it's pretty interesting.

You remember MDickie games? They are fun and have lots of mods. Wrestling fans know there are no better games than those. If you've never heard of them, you should play them. They're all kinda violent...RPGs or action games of some sort. They're simplistic, but thanks to that modders were able to do tons of cool shit with it.

There used to be very large communities for these games and especially for the mods. Remember TWC? What was the last one, TWC4? Either way. One thing you should know is the fans of these games are highly autistic and dedicated. On to the happening...

He's been having a meltdown for many, many years it seems. He's quoting tweets of his from 5 years ago when he had another meltdown...or maybe this is all a continuous meltdown and it never stopped

Complains about piracy, equating it to a "free lunch". I'd assume his fans were upset they couldn't play his games on the platform he always released them on, pc.

He seems to only allow specific people to mod his games which caused presumably big fans and modders of the game to send him mean emails threatening to...mod his games and make them better. He doesn't really want to release the games on PC&Android because I guess people can mod them???

Wait, this is the guy that made those Hard Time games?! I watched Vinny play it a while back, seemed funny.

Shame the dev is having a meltdown, but it's funny that people are leaving salty reviews but it doesn't even register on the overall rating which for now is still Very Positive.
 
I just learned that Sacred 2 got a remaster. My first thought was "Why not the first game?", then I got to the reviews, and all things considered I'll just keep the reverse-engineered ruski mod. I even was hopeful for a split second and checked out the "ultimate bundle" of all Sacred games on steam. Nope. No Sacred 1 remaster.

Meanwhile I'm here with the game installed and I don't want to play it because I know I'll get sucked into it and waste an extra 500 hours in a modded campaign.

Not what you were talking about OP, but I'd seen this game crop up from time to time and had no idea what it was or why it has fans.

It took me about 2 days and 14 solo runs before someone actually tried to kill me, and they were sniping at me from across the map. I was killed by another person for the first time today, shot in the back while sneaking around a robot, but this was sandwiched between two rounds with totally wholesome encounters.

I anticipate people will get more kill happy as they finish the progression and run out of quests to do, and I've heard it's much more PVP heavy in teams and even later at night.

More like the issues that were already present in Kenshi are most likely going to passed on and even amplified, especially considering it's on the Unreal Engine. That and they hired some terminally online hyper-troon (literally just a grown ass man with pink hair, not even trying to pass) as a writer or something...yeah they probably are.
