Not only is this chick an insane Communist she's not even attractive.

Wouldn't it be way cheaper to just pay a random OnlyFans girl for her likeness and avoid a PR disaster?
They don't care about cheap. They care about getting humiliated and cucked. It doesn't feel the same if you just pay a whore and tell her to cuck you. It needs to be real or you don't get points.

Some "banned on Steam and Epic" horse game got a discount on GOG and what the fuck is this giant trigger warning.

Ah yes, the most disturbing content: CHEWING AND SWALLOWING, and MISOGYNY. Pass.

Is Horses still kicking around?
Just a reminder in case anyone gets curious, this game was banned on Steam and Epic because the dev submitted an early build that the Steam reviewers considered to contain "sexual content involving a minor", so they told him to peddle his shit elsewhere and not to contact them again. The version released on GOG doesn't include that content, and the dev has been lying by omission to fabricate a controversy with the help of the worst elements of gaming journalism, to little tangible results. The "game" itself is pretty tame beyond being a case of "the devs barely disguised fetish", and has the production level of a teenager's first Unity project.
I think I wrote a long post about it somewhere, but you get the idea. You can get the same experience by watching a YouTube walkthrough video since the "game" is barely interactive to begin with.

I've been fairly critical of pseudo retro horrorslop like Signalis and Hollow Body but at least those are actual games even if they are made by trannies.

Horses is not even that. It is a 2 hour Unity asset flip with a black and white filter.

The devs were undoubtedly trying the whole controversy = sales thing because their game was not very good and they knew it.

All this horrorslop post 2015 just reminds me how very little people are inspired of other horror movies and games post Silent Hill. I don't see shit like something out of Bloodborne or The Thing (1982).

...or Italian horror movies from the 70s and 80s. There's a ton of them and I don't think I've ever heard of a game inspired by that.

The devs were also trying to cash in on the payment processors fuckery controversy that has been ramping up in recent times, but the "sexual content involving a minor" part is inexcusable.

I really like the effort Dead Format gave and it's pretty cheap. It's a solo dev from Scotland and with proper budget and time it could have been fanastic, but still very impressive for one dude. It centers around banned horror VHS tapes (based off some IRL censoring trend that happend over there) and he filmed snippets for them in live action with practical effects. Very nifty and each 'world' is based off a genre: B/W silent, 70's giallo slashers, and even the good ol' "cosmic horror lands in the big city and takes over the planet." Worth a gander and his other games are very cheap and intresting too.

Have you seen this? It's pretty good.

Rayman 30th Anniversary is releasing and all it is is five ROMs from different versions including GBC and GBA (not Saturn). This is terrible--you take the best version and backport any other features to it. How hard is it for these developers to understand?
The year is 2026. You are playing Tomb Raider, Croc, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro and Rayman.

I say this jokingly but i 100% believe that the newest game of a 20 year old IP flopping has 5x the staying power of even the best newcomer. I ask myself "have I lost the ability to be excited for games anymore?" but it seems like a industry-wide feeling. Nothing new is exciting. Nothing new lasts. Even something as mythical as Elden Ring can land and just.. fizzle out.

Oh, and they're remastering God of War 1-3 supposedly. And a new Legacy of Kain!!!!!

"Get off X and learn some empathy" as if social media isn't where 99% of the landwhale defenders reside lmao.

People IRL give even less of a shit about upsetting fatties than people online do.

I'd kill for a good new game in any of these franchises. So many of them have just been sitting in a vault somewhere until the company remembers they own it or are rebooted in the lamest possible way.

Crash 4 was mid as fuck, but I still love the series. I want it to be good again.

Stellar Blade is like the ultimate "Dad Walks in" game. I don't think there's a single frame of that shit that won't result in you getting hit with this stare.

Does anyone have any suggestions for good fantasy games on the PS4/5? I've taken a look at my library, found that damn near all of my current games are basically just modern military shooters; I was thinking either Elden Ring: Nightreign again, BG3's Durge playthough, or the Elder Scrolls again? I dunno; difficult to find a fun fantasy game these days.

Kinda feel like Halo is a sort of "you need to have been there" franchise
Halo was genre defining at the time but, as I noticed in my recent replays, is really showing it's age
A recent replay of everything in the MCC (except 4) has me feeling the same way. Halo hooked me as a teen playing on consoles, but now when I play them I really just think about other shooters with much more fun gameplay that I could boot up instead, since the Halo story is not new and surprising and tense for me. Halo has some really great emotional beats for a first-timer, and of course fantastic music and some great lines, but the moment-to-moment of getting through levels tends to be really tedious for a returning player with its indistinct (or outright copy-pasted) rooms.

One of the debates around Halo I don't understand is people's hatred for sprinting. I've seen people make arguments about how it 'completely destroys all semblance of balance' in multiplayer - which sounds like hyperbolic bullshit to me, but I guess at a stretch I can maybe get where people are coming from with that one, in the same way I would buy that moving a Redeemer spawn on a UT map would change the "balance" a bit.

But I've also seen people saying that sprinting even ruins singleplayer because it 'fundamentally betrays what Halo as a series stands for' or whatever.
I legit do not fucking understand Such arguments: if not having sprint is one of the foundational, important things someone associates with Halo (especially singleplayer) it makes me question their sanity and how they think of videogames. I don't think being forced to walk slower than '93 Doomguy walks is the defining part of why Halo is good.

I actually had a lot of fun playing Final Fantasy XV. Drive around with the boys, go fishing and hunting and camping, explore dungeons.
