Remember when you had to have a dedicated GeForce GPU for PhysX? Nvidia did and I guess wants you to buy another card.
 
So, modern video game developer faggots make women and other characters hideous, and then nvidia gives you an AI filter to fix the uggos.

Gotta admit, I'm impressed with the hustle.

I got the latest version of PCSX2 and it runs GREAT. PS2 games have never played better on my 4k TV.

It gets even worse with the choice of games they picked to showcase this. RE:9 is ok, a good choice. Topical. Looks like shit of course but at least it shows off the tech well with current games. Hogwarts Legacy? That shit is already old, do we not have other better games like that coming out? STARFIELD? FUCKING STARFIELD? Who even is playing Starfield still? Fallout New Vegas has more players and that shit is 90% pirate installs only some 10% are tracked.

It is such obvious bullshit. The trailer itself shows there is no artistic vision preserved the filter is just applying the same photorealistic AI generated faces on everything and animating it. Both RE characters look like bad cosplays and Hogwarts Legacy goes from slightly cartoony to a "this will be graphics in 2014" meme ultra realistic. It is even worse with RE and FIFA because those have characters based on real people, either models or literal IRL footballers and the shitty filter DESTROYS their appearance, they turn into totally different people.

It doesn't matter, they're gonna lay off the last 3 people with any "artistic vision" to begin with, then the future of industrial game development is they'll outsource all assets to Laos and Cambodia for 39 cents each and slide on the Quality Mode™ filter on top of whatever dogshit they get back.

This has Jeet hands smeared all over it. Only the sub 70iq of an Indian tech serf could look at that viscerally disgusting filter and think "Yes saar!! This is the future of gaming technology saar! 50% fps loss and massive install bloat for shit smear filter saar! It is just like Mumbai saar!!".

Not mentioned: It literally requires you have a second GPU dedicated to AI to do this. (Edit: Two $3500 GPUs, at that. 5090s are nearly $4000 now and rising.)
