are the sequels that gay? i remember the hamburger hepler shit and that gay centaur, but i never played a bioware game until i beat dragon age origins a couple of weeks ago, i thought it was swell. ive heard the same about mass effect too
 
I'm gonna start a F2P game on my ps4. Should I go fo Warframe or Path of Exile?
 
Yesterday I killed Queen Womant in Don't Starve: Hamlet and got her crown to finally unlock Wilba. Immediately after I got out of a mant hill I went directly into a gas forest and died, because I'm retarded and partially colorblind (rainforest is red turf, gas rainforest is green).

Also, using the "build the wall" technique now seemingly teleports everyone from the blocked side into the shadow realm.

voice acting is so forgettable that if you were to rip out context of what was happening, no one would probably assume this was for some "lolsorandum" indie turn-based game
this gets brought up every time the game appears, but there are just way too much QTE's, as if to distract from every other awful part of the game
the music sounds like it's trying to be like early Earthbound without knowing why Earthbound's music sounds good

I remember one of the characters from Inquisition, Dorian, being used exclusively to advertise his homosexuality, among other things.

Any game that uses some kind of QTE system always lets you attack to some base degree, and the timing is always for bonuses. Like, Shadow Hearts did it best:

The timing thing is simple and the same every time, so you can get good at it. The whole WarioWare thing YIIK uses looks stressful and a pain in the ass. It's like socialism: nice idea in theory, but a clusterfuck in practice because nobody wants to do all that work with no incentives other than "you can keep going".

Game that's been running for 5 years or so, been playing it for like 4 myself. Dev is pretty dedicated and if you're into that grinding Runescape style game play, I'd recommend checking it out. Just thought I'd share.

So City of Heroes is back.

Goddamn, why is it that a 15 year old MMO has better costume options, better power spread, better world, better UI, and more QoL shit than modern MMO's.

Playing it makes me feel like all the other MMO's have gone backwards.

How is this franchise getting a pass? Their whole model is built upon reusing old models as fan service. It's both brilliant and idiotic. And of course they're aware of their shared userbase with Dark Souls.

Also yeah these faggots do not subscribe to "a character should show visible traits of their personality". Yes it's a very successful way to design a character and 99% of the time it works well.

But they honestly believe that you shouldn't be judged by your appearance and appearance means nothing. Despite spending thousands of dollars to get tattoos of their beliefs and idols on their body and spending even more on dying their hair blue or whatever fucking colors, because ITS REALLY REALLY SUPER SERIOUS FUCKING REALLY the inside and ethereal parts of a person that only counts.

Do not design a transexual character to look like a transexual unless I say it do what Xir does it do. How hard is for those bigots to understand?

Because the games themselves are fun and they know better than to go beyond cosmetics and expansion packs for DLC? Also, I’m pretty sure that silver armor will be like samurai day-one DLC: just a skin that goes over the armor and weapon you unlocked that’ll not actually improve your performance in combat

I don't know what system to buy, Should I get a switch, a ps4, or a 3ds. Switch for be for more modern games. PS4 has uncharted remastered, Yakuza 0 and 2. 3DS has some rpgs I'd like to play on the go (Xenoblade, DQVII, Pokemon Gold remakes, Chrono Trigger) and Zelda (OOT and MM remakes).

I've been collecting for the Xbox 360 lately. I do own a Xbone S, so I could get the modern stuff on there. Also have a gaming pc.

On the xenoblade part as that I have a decent amount of experience with all 3 games, why do you want to play Xenoblade 1?

See the 3DS version takes an already dated looking game and compacts it into a smaller screen which means it can be harder to really take in everything that the game tries to show you. Xenoblade to me is a series with a lot of atmosphere and scale to deliver some very nice scenic views in an expansive world. That's a lot of generic terms I know, but you can kind of see it what they were going for which was a bit uncommon for jrpgs at the time it came out. Even on the crappy Wii it really could set a nice scene and make things feel really cool with a sense of scale to it, but I question how much it really holds up on 3DS, which to me kind of loses a lot of the experience. The game itself isn't bad at all, it kind of reminds me of how FF12 played with the mmo-esque combat system and feel which I'm fine with personally.

I don't believe Xenoblade 1 stands up to the massive amount of hype it gets in some jrpg circles who swear this game is the most perfect thing to exist in 15 years. It is good and worth playing overall especially if you want a longer game, but it isn't the best game ever either. The story is fairly good though and the most solid of the 3 games in the series, especially if you hate overly anime designs in jrpgs as the Xenoblade 1's cast is pretty tame by that standard.

Obviously this won't answer all your questions, but it might help a little with your issue based on what you've said here.
