Did any of you have this dream?
Enemy is invincible, enemy kills you, you go to another level, enemy appears at that level and is invincible and kills you. You spend the whole time running away from the enemy and it keeps appearing and you cant kill it and it kills you.
You restart the system and play a new game, invincible enemy appears and kills you. You play a different game, enemy appears and kills you. You decide to take a break from video games and focus on life, later after blowing off some steam you boot the game up and the enemy appears and kills you.
Ok I know this is just basically a Resident Evil game but come on.
Let's say you want to play Super Mario 64 a non scary kind of video game, you want to do the jumps and collect the coins but then an invincible goomba shows up and its super fast and you cant kill it, you jump on it and it just un flattens itself and starts chasing you, ok, now what? Well lets say you just deal with it, It's just the first level whatever, and then when you beat the big bomb man and go back to the hub world the super fast invincible goomba appears and it instantly starts to chase you, what the hell is going on, right? And let's say this goomba also would kill you in one hit. So you jump out of the painting and open the door and the goomba instantly starts to run after you and keeps killing you until you get a game over and now you have to start from the beginning. Your day is ruined, fuck this game. So you take a chill pill and play a different game the next day. You decide to play Call of Duty with your pals and just when you think you are having a swell ol' time with your friends the goomba appears and you can't kill it! It keeps running after you in your Epic MLG matches and you keep getting killed and made your team of best friends lose. They all get angry at you for being such a n00b and you try and explain to them: "It's the goomba! It's the goomba! It keeps chasing me and killing me and I can't get rid of it!" You play another match and what do you know the goomba appears and starts chasing you again and you get 100+ deaths. Your friends no longer want to play or even talk to you because you are such a n00b. The goomba is ruining your life, you try and play a classic game Final Fantasy IV also known as II in the US. You boot up the game and as soon as you take control of your character the goomba appears as a 3d model in this non-3d game and starts to kill you.
You had enough, video games are finito, no more. You try and get on with life, but you are so traumatized you keep seeing the goomba were the goomba isn't supposed to appear, you go to the supermarket and you swear you see a goomba in the corner of your eye running through the isle. You physically react like you were spooked and people look at you like you are some sort of crazy loser who probably has the case of schizophrenia. You get real embarrassed and try and act normal but you have this chilling feeling that the goomba is nearby ready to chase you down, so you are just shaking and getting really nervous and occasionally make vocal tics like saying "ooh" "aaahh" unprompted. Everybody thinks you're weird, you have become a paranoid schizophrenic for playing Super Mario 64 and your life is ruined.
Has anybody had that kind of dream before?
