I'm still seething that Tychus Findlay died so this bitch can go full-on Mary Sue mode and become the SAVIOR of SC2's storyline. But on the upside, at least Tychus wasn't ruined as a character, like how most of Blizzard's characters in the games have suffered in recent times.
The female Triathletes in RSE were the TRUE GOAT women of that generation:
It was very telling (and also very infuriating) that ORAS removed them (as well as removing the Battle Frontier) because Game Freak was too afraid of making athletic women that look good.

Oh God, poor Eleanor.
Alphonse's love interest in The Knight of Lodis on the GBA, a prequel to Let Us Cling Together.
Adopted. Bullied as a kid. Became an orphan and bullied even worse. Chased out of the village. Worked at a monetary where the head priest beat her. She rescues the player from dying on the beach. Joins your party when you see her again. I felt like since she was underleveled in my party enemy archers would target her more often, so the bullying did not stop ever.
The game has several endings + other bits depending on who survives.
KoL is not a lighthearted game. Here's Lucifer, the final boss:
The BAD ending is you and Eleanor escape all military, religious, and political matters to live a quiet life together.
The canon ending is Eleanor sacrifices herself to stop Lucifer from dragging you to hell with him, sympathizing with a fallen angel who just wanted to be loved and a lifetime of loneliness.
This and all the other backstabbing bullshit fucks Alphonse up so bad he takes Lucifer's sword and becomes Lancelot Tartaros, the antagonist of LUCT.
There also endings where Eleanor isn't there to sacrifice herself and you get dragged to hell and leave her all alone once again.
I remember pouring over magazines for this game as a kid wishing I could play it so I emulated it as an adult over a decade after it's release and holy shit it still blew me away. This phrase is still part of my vocabulary another decade later:

I've used remaster loops for profile pictures for ages now. They're so fucking kino. I often forget how iconic SC2 is despite me having zero interest in 40k or sci fi. Really was something; SC2 making up the top 10 of twitch, every having a race and a favorite pro player. Also yknow, military women daring to be seductive.

It's actually worse than that: it's not even a sacrifice, the whole thing actually ends up being enough for God to take Shaher back. God just doesn't simply send the woman back down because reasons even though Angel Knights are obviously a thing. Alphonse has every right to be pissed.
