Putting "all your eggs in one basket" as a BASED™ creator is a bad idea since you are probably going to get banned sooner or later, especially if you invested in Youtube. My philosophy is that the more websites you host your content on, the harder it is to censor you (or at least slowing the process down). You should consider to decentralize your online presence and that's what this thread is all about.

So in this thread I thought we can make a list over video hosting/streaming sites. I will start with the following ones:
Website
Livestream
Information
YoutubeYes, will save the VOD too.Run by poojets, get banned for anything. Use preservetube to archive your stuff if you can.
OdyseeYesYou have to encode the videos yourself. You can also host audio and documents.
RumbleYesSlow upload speed in some regions. But really nigga, can't wait an hour to upload a video after editing for days?
BitChuteYesHQ in Wyoming now, but still restricted in many EU countries.
BitViewNoMax 15 minute videos
3speak TVYesSometimes slow, max 2 GB per video. Also need a Hive account (some crypto shit). Ugly logo over the video player window, but can be removed with uBlock Origin (use the element picker and click on the logo).
SubstackNoYou have to encode the videos yourself. You can also host audio and text.
Vimeo (free account)NoWeekly maximum upload limit.
NicoNicoNoNo English support (it's all in japanese). You need a VPN for some sections.
FacebookYesPolicy to use your IRL credentials.
VidLiiNo2GB, 25 minute maxium per video.
PeerTubeDepends on the instance/platform you are on.Decentralized, but you have to pick an instance/platform that isn't run by censor jannys.

If you have to encode videos yourself, I suggest using FFmpeg, or if you need a GUI version; use handbrake and make a preset that you can run the videos through. For video software in general, I found this post on the farms with a lot of good recommendations.

For livestreaming only:
Website
Information
TwitchRun by trannys and gooners. Get banned for anything, even for stuff on other websites.
Kick-
OwncastSelf hosting

I suggest uploading clips on Instagram and TikTok since there is a lot of potential new audience there. If you want to livestream there, you should consider multistream. Aitum Multistream got settings for a separate vertical mode.

If you want to self-host videos (but you have to pay for it), I suggest this guide here.

If you are wondering why someone should make content (if you can); consider these posts:

NicoNico my beloved.
BiliBili is the chink version of NN, although you can't create an account without some chink verification of some kind like a homeland phone number.
I added NicoNico, but not BiliBili. Not going to suggest users to sign up for a CCP account. If anyone needs to interact with China though work or travel there, don't want their social credit score to already be tanked down to oblivion.

Actually thoughts on DailyMotion? It's a bit of a Dead Nigger Baby hosted in France, but is particularly useful for finding really obscure clips from shows if you can't find it on YouTube.
I'm not sure what to think of Vidlii, it's main gimmick is emulating oldschool YouTube, however I have heard of problems like hosting Baby Monkey Torture in the past. I don't think they tolerate/let that slip by anymore, but I'm not sure what else there is to know about it beyond that.

You need to be approved to be able to upload though "access tokens" (no idea if it's hard or easy to get), but it seems extra tedious compared to the others websites in the list.

When it comes to lack of moderation, you have to take the good and the bad parts that comes with it. However, the fandom wiki got me a chuckle tho.

Website: KiwiFarms
LiveStream: No
Information: Has a 200mb limit. Very particular with specific browsers according to Null (Firefox based browsers work better for video uploads than chrome based browsers for whatever reason) and even then you might encounter a scenario where it says it failed to upload but then it'll show up as it actually uploaded as an attachment.

Sounds like a godawful website, I would never use such a website.
*400mb now ACKschually.
Only 400mb? I hope the owner doesn't start a grift poodcast or something to fund better servers, that would be embarrassing.

What's your thoughts on DLive, Vaughn, and BitWave? They're streaming platforms that i've seen some lolcows like Oddkast and Ghostler/TCR have streamed on. I know DLive hosts a lot of Chuddy people but Oddkast got banned for racism there somehow, and Ghost moved over to Vaughn when he got a week long ban from Dlive, and Vaughn is ran by a guy named Mark Vaughn who pretty much is very hands on regarding modding as he was in both Oddkast and Ghost's chats when they streamed on his site.

my streams on dlive were always muted because i streamed with a rtmp-multistream plugin, direct streams were ok, not sure if it works on streamlabs.
vaughn.live is english only, so i didnt have there alot of traffic either.

never heard of bitwave before.

It was a very small streaming platform that Oddkast went to when he got banned. I don't even know if it's still alive, but it looks like its still up and nobody streams there.

Don't visit VidLii. There's cartel execution videos and all manner of gore and sadistic content on it. The last thing you'd want is law enforcement hounding you when you're just trying to upload a normal video online.

Foreign language upload sites are a trove to explore. There's tonnes.
VK and OK.ru are social medias that can be used for video uploads. You can find plenty of full-length pirated films on OK.ru that basically never get taken down.
E.g. The Wind in the Willows (1995) VHS era greatness (sure, this film can be found on the Internet Archive and other places, but you get the point. Try something more recent for yourself)

BiliBili is a Chinese video upload site like NicoNico. It's entirely in Chinese though.

I've literally returned to vidlii because they had an entire team change recently and now they actually ARE getting rid of shit like that, so yea it's not like it's 2023 state anymore.

Bitchute has been talking about getting livestreaming up and running for almost a decade at this point, yet I can’t actually see any on their website. Maybe they’re all on a different page or something.

To the livestreaming platforms, I would like to add OwnCast, a federated livestreaming platform. It seems geared towards single-user or low user count instances, but it is a full-fledged platform, and something like that is a good use of federation, as opposed to larger, more monolithic instances.
