Can anyone tell me what happened to the Jabroni chan vtuber model? I read that the artist took it back. I was under the impression that he paid for it

Saw it on this Vod of the debeaut. He mentions that Jchan is dead and never coming back

Jotaro's VA was GPM. The furfag that tried to cancel Vinny. You can hear him in the 4th vid you posted.

That said, since this vid is from 2017, I'm guessing GPM being kicked from the Vinesauce team due to lying about his circumstances and soliciting donations might have had something to do with it.
It's Joel we're talking about though. It's not like he has a great track record of doing things in a timely manner. Most likely gave him a convenient way out of doing the dub at all.

That was GPM? I had no idea. I never cared for his streams though, so it makes sense I wouldn't recognize him from his voice. That being said, I have to agree with you that it probably was Joel's procrastination rather than GPM's antics that killed the project. The one thing that would lead me to believe otherwise is the fact that he presented its progress overtime, showing us that he was putting a good deal of effort into the project. And so he might have continued working on it had GPM not shit the bed, but considering Joel's aversion to anything related to drama, we'll probably never know for certain.
It really blows we never got to hear Vinny's line recordings, that is if he ever had any lines recorded or even formally agreed to recording any.
 
Fuck GPM. Hated that fuckin pissrag since the first time I interacted with him. The dude had a huge fuckin ego behind the scenes and always chased after what Vinny and the rest had.

There was an AI dungeon stream back in the day where the prompt's adventure was about saving a streamer from a deranged stalker who just wanted to hear her say "bike." Mike was like, dang, no need to do that if you want me to say bike, and here we are now.

I was amazed that he was still around after the news of him scamming people for arcade machines came out. Did he finally delete his Discord, or he is still believing that he'll be remembered for something other than being a deceitful troglodyte?

He deleted it after his (now ex) husband spilled the beans and admitted everything people were saying about GPM (being a drama fag and enabled a child predator) was true. He then said he was quitting internet stuff and promptly deleted all of his accounts on social media and video stuff.

Mostly stuff I encountered with him on Vinesauce Mumble and Vinesauce Discord and when I used to watch his stuff casually before the shit festered.
One of the most idiotic moments was when GPM, Imakuni, and Mentaljen read a fanfic about a Vinny x Joel Fan Fic with Jen as Vinny and Ima as Joel. GPM would be the Narrator. This was on the Vinecord before stuff was FAR more strict and things were more casual. During it, GPM would egg on the actual grossness of it while Jen and Ima were mostly doing it to shit on people who make stuff like this while having dumb fun with it.
GPM always was clout chasing and trying to come out on top in any situation no matter how small of a "victory" it was for him.
 
What happened to GPM has to be the biggest case of karma I've ever seen go down in real life. Short of him killing himself after it was all said and done; there is literally no way things could have went down in a more totally and utterly annihilating way. He seriously lost everything, and it was all deserved.

I noticed one of the PS1 teasers he played with a roomful of people fistslamming their desks seemed to be ripping off the music video for Ana Ng with the specific camera angles and posturing.
Also, Toby face in 1990.

I don't remember the exact reason and I'm too lazy to dig through posts until then, but I still don't get this logic. You make a fan creation for someone. Something that does not have a real copyright, and for years was proven to be like by fanbase. Then you go "K no one can use it anymore,bye_. Like I feel if Mike's chat wasn't so small and he wasn't as understanding, the fans could easily still be making stuff with them and there would be absolutely nothing they could do.

The reason being the person is part of the "DreamSMP" fandom which is known to weaponize the members to attack people on Twitter. Thus Mike and his Mods decided it was in their best interest to just listen to such and follow through.
Also, it's partially to the benefit of Mike as I can't help but feel with the "voice" he had to do with Jabroni Chan it wasn't helping with his voice that he's been having issues with around that time.

I agree about the voice. Wasn't a fan Of that, not a fan of grown men playing young (?) women as a long running joke.
Woulda been better as a mascot character imo

Would it be too autistic to compile the charity incentives that Joel just straight up did not do? The IRL cooking stream is the one that sticks out to me as him just straight up not doing something that people raised money to see.

The stuff with Dream and Twitter wars was never a factor. As unfortunate as it was for the artist to do, it was just best to respect their wishes and retire the character they created. And considering the nature of the things they said and got banned for, nobody really wanted to associate with them anymore anyway.
