Since it's a topic that I've not seen in this thread for ages at this point, and I'm glad that the thread's came back around to it... are there any old Vinesauce streams you'd recommend? The weird, loose, improvisational stuff similar to Cooking With Vinesauce, or whatever else? I've been trying to take a dive into some of the stuff I used to watch in the past, but youtube's search seems utterly adamant that it's not going to let me see anything anything relevant that's more than a few years old.
For full streams, you can always check the
VineClassics playlist - these are a few Vinny-approved older streams, and there are some real gems in there, like his playthrough of Ocarina of Time (Chaos Edition). Most of these streams are middling timeline-wise, around 2014-2015, but I'm fairly certain that one or two videos in there are from 2012, which is probably as old as we'll be able to get at this point. (One video NOT in that playlist is
Vinny's Minecraft one-off from 2016 - it's a terrible stream, but I recommend it for GPM's cameo toward the end

). The archive file that was just uploaded also has some pretty legendary ones, like some classic Vinny corruptions and MULTIPLE streams from Joel's CS:GO era. The latter full streams have been really hard to track down due to Joel being particularly obnoxious at that time; I think he went to great lengths to scrub them out.
I highly recommend starting with the older Youtube highlights, since some of the best classic content is in those snippets and there's a lot more out there than you might remember. Some channels you can check:
Joel's channel - His channel used to be the general Vinesauce channel, so if you sort by oldest, you can see highlights from other streamers too, both former and current. There's even a highlight from Joel's first ever stream (Doom) buried in there.
Vinny's channel - Sort by oldest here too - his channel was a personal Youtube account at first, so the oldest videos are mostly band performances and other things he found funny/interesting at the time. (So it's all super embarrassing, of course.)
VinesauceVinebits - IIRC, this is actually Joel's channel, but he hasn't updated it in a while & presumably forgot about it completely. There's some pretty legendary highlights here.
DemEngineerz - He was a major community member who put together quite a few of his own highlights, separate from the main channel ones. He was often in a lot of the streams too, and you can hear the streamers reference him or make jokes about him pretty frequently in older videos.
EnemyCube - Another major contributor with some good highlights; more Joel oriented than Vinny. The Drunken Dark Souls highlight is one of my favorite Vinesauce clips of all time.
Gamer Crab - I have not watched all the videos in this playlist, but there's quite a variety; even some Rev in there! A lot of these highlights are also much longer than the previous channels; the others tend to be between 5-10 minutes, but this channel's highlights are more in the 20-30 minute range.
Dong Dong Never Die is an underrated Joel highlight.
Pierdeer - This is the guy who mentioned the old streams channel in the Discord server (and presumably brought it to Joel's attention) - he has been editing highlights for Vinesauce for years. You'll have to do a little more digging to figure out which videos are older, since his playlists are sort of mashed together, but he does have the 4 years of Vinesauce stream in parts, as well as some older highlights mixed in there.
Vinesauce Obscurities - I completely forgot about this channel; they have a fuckton of full streams here, though they are uploaded in parts, and this is one of the few channels to not focus on Joel or Vinny. Joel appears much more than Vinny, but the majority of the uploads are from other Vinesauce members, like Hootey and Direboar. Some of the uploads may be muted, but I believe the channel labels which ones.
Brandon Zannino - This is a bit of a stretch, but this is a former Vinesauce member, Tame/Bran. He's in quite a few highlights with Joel and was mentioned a lot in the early days, but got kicked out for a bunch of reasons. If you are so inclined, you can watch his oldest videos, which would've been made while he was involved with Vinesauce; I haven't watched them myself, so I can't speak to their level of quality.
EDIT: Almost forgot the
Exinthevatican Archive channel! As the name implies, this is just reuploads of videos that were already on Joel's channel, but as he has gone back and edited a small number of them for content, this channel still hosts the original versions of those videos. So you can always check here to see if the time on the archived version matches the time on the official highlight - if it's way off, it means Joel edited it.
There's likely more out there, but these are the ones I thought of off the top of my head. This should keep you busy for quite a while; there's years worth of content in all of these.
