In the bottom left corner, you can see people spam Moonman lyrics in the ingame chat. Nowadays it would probably be trans rights mantras. Kids these days n all that.

I remember another part of the Roller Coaster Tycoon multiplayer streams where someone named the park "nigger" and Joel said something along the lines of "great name, that's my favorite park."

Not to put on a tin foil hate but its awfully interesting Joel did the edit to the Roller Coaster Tycoon and right now he is streaming a Roller Coaster Tycoon inspired game. Its almost like he was planning to stream this game and realized some people would go back to watch the Roller Coast Tycoon after.
 
Joel is losing his mind to some dude singing names while a fractal oscillates in the background, what is this stream?

The edit happened over a year ago now IIRC, though based on what we know about Joel it wouldn't come as too much of a shock if he was planning to stream it then when it was still in early access but forgot about it until recently.

I remember seeing a video of this moment on a random shitposting channel(shoutouts to @Nambona890), always assumed it was an edit.

Both of these posts remind me of something Joel said recently. He was streaming a Duende game (it was the one that's like the Goose game where you have a lot of objectives) and somebody in chat said, "Jokes are illegal on Twitch now." as a joke and then Joel said, "You joke, but there's some truth to that."

He cut out the tranny flag part from the Animal Crossing VOD and the "All Lives Matter: I agree" part from the Wish VOD. So it's not that he doesn't like /v/, it's more that he knows people will argue over it so it's best to completely avoid mentioning it. At least that's how I feel, a lot of this censorship he does seems to come more from the fact of avoiding people getting mad rather than him being personally upset about certain topics.

Bit off topic and also :optimistic:, but if things continue to go how they have been, I wouldn't be surprised if the social pendulum swings in the opposite direction within the next few years. I just wonder what will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Hopefully not nukes.

Regarding the Discord server from my experience the Video Game channels are full of reasonably minded people whereas all the troons and other undesirables hang out in the general and stream lounge channels. There are still some fags who hang around the video game channel but there's also a lot of people hiding their power level but slip up every once in awhile.

Yeah. There was someone in gen chat like a month back talking about how skinheads aren't associated with nazis (like, at all) and thankfully the others who were there at the time were reasonably confused. That person was an ultra tard who thought everything needed to be non problematic etc etc
