Vinny TF2 stream with jerma and ster was fantastic. I wish he did more of that and less 4 hour streams of him watching the final fantasy 16 moviegame.

I watched Jobel's stream ripping on garten of banban and now all my reccomendations are fucked up. I hate youtube.
Go into your YT history and delete the video from it. I've been told youtube recommendations are driven by watch history and deletions help. Tell the thread if it works.

on the topic of Vinny's personal life - I myself don't really care about funny pasta guy's personal details. He's gone on record saying he'd prefer it to be private and I respect that. Learning all this stuff about him by proxy of reading the thread doesn't really change my opinion of him, nor is it info I'd willingly seek out. A few posters are just barely containing their desire to slurp his spaghetti and it's very obvious. We know he has questionable tastes in women and seems to prefer casual hookups. Actively seeking them out at any level of investment seems like a bad idea. The man's left a trail of would be tumblrettes scorned by his pump and dump tactics. He will not change for a kiwifarms poster.

I remember hearing a very reasonable explanation of parasocial or one sided entertainer relationships from a streamer once. Paraphrased:
Interacting with viewers or seeking friendship with viewers is very difficult because of how one sided it is. They know so much about me that the entire dynamic is completely skewed. We don't start on equal footing. That makes it hard for any kind of relationship to form naturally. I don't like interacting with viewers often off stream because of that. In their mind I'm already their friend, but I know nothing about them so it ends up being weird.
I don't remember the streamer or clip I heard that from. Stuck out to me as a reasonable explanation of parasocial behavior from the streamer perspective. Maybe something to keep in mind. A healthy audience to entertainer divide is worth having.

Also a good idea is to just turn off watch history in general at myactivity.google.com

I tend to get more videos from subbed channels, the only side effect is that it fucks up the algorithm a bit so you get videos with like 5 views randomly, which I see as a benefit because i've found some funny schizos and autists through that method.

What a weird thing to do.

ff16 sucks. I think I said this earlier in the thread, but I couldn't get past the first hour or so of the game. The cutscenes were wonderfully animated and then it got to the gameplay. It looks like ff14 online.

Anyone else feel slightly perturbed when anything Jerma related's brought up on stream?
The reason I ask is because Jerma's new life priorites taking up his time away from streaming were talked about the other day brought on by chat during the Pikmin stream, that anytime he's talked about on stream it's as though a large part of the fanbase are errily shipping them together. I can understand bringing up Joel, Mike, the mods, and the other Vinesauce members to/with Vinny, since their history together goes way the fuck back, but with Jerma, it comes off forced, I feel, or even highschool-tier with how chat brings him up or bounce between streams when they're both streaming seperately, telling one what the other did like it's a game of telephone.

I may be schizoing by reading into it too much, but with how much of an overlap between fans who watch them both, how unhealthily obsessed Jerma's side of the fanbase are with him -- even going as far as intergrating his own memes into Vinny's community -- the fact that they were "memed into being friends" as Vinny put it, just irritates me and makes me feel really uncomfortable, as though they're trying to subliminally mold Vinny into Jerma's surrogate. It doesn't help matters much when Vinny's admitted several times he's a people-pleaser while also occasionaly having this inner struggle of thinking he needs to project this image of himself of what others want him to be. I would hope he's at least self-aware enough to recognize what's going on to where if it ever gets out of hand he can tell these weirdos to knock it off.

Over the past year I've been noticing it more and more myself, tbh. It's getting more creepy and common, and it's only going to get worse until someone puts their foot down. I don't think it'll be Jerma considering how drugged out of his mind he is these days, and I think Vinny is too much of a nice guy to tell people "fuck off" in no uncertain terms with this. It's easy to just write it off as chat being retarded(they are) but this has been a growing issue for a while.

It's gonna end when Joel snaps and kidnaps a chat troon and tortures him live on stream like on darkweb red room (sponsored by MUG).

Based and fecalpilled. Joel doesn't seem to play into it as much as the others, but I know troonery and other shit still takes place in his chat. Can't escape it these days and pozzed moderation plus Twitch/Youtube rules make gatekeeping nigh impossible.

It was inevitable. Both Vinny and Jerma's fanbase is almost entirely weird, creepy, trannies.

I've been watching Joel's VotV streams and I knew I would find people talking about the weird furry shit on here. I went on the wiki and there's some haram content.

Firstly is the page for the "Aririals" which is the dev's alien furry OC species. Here are a couple standouts, most of them are sketches but there are some colored and even 3d rendered ones too. Presumably for the game.

It doesn't have information, but it does have many drawings of the species that the dev has made. As a bonus there are comments fighting about whether the species fits in a game like VotV.

Then there's some of the items that aren't in the game, but are a bit eyebrow raising

"Arir Milk"
A carton of milk that restores 250 hunger in 50 sips 5 hunger each. The carton says "arir milk 4 u uwo" on one side and "notice me kelussy >w< on the other. (Dr. Kel is the character you play as in Voices of the Void.)

Also a "strange brownie"
"A piece of food that looks and feels like a light and soft brownie, but it has a weird smell"
Restores 2 hunger in one bite

Please someone warn him before it's too late. Or not, it may be funny seeing Joel disavow the dev on air and unceremoniously drop the game. It sucks because Joel has said how much he really likes the game, and now the dev seems on a fast track to ruining it.

Also I enjoy Joel but by god is he gullible. Voices of the Void would be a better series if he didn't look at chat at all. You can even tell he gets legitimately annoyed with people straight up lying to him and wasting his time.

weird furry shit
This coupled with the porn model adjacent player model makes me wonder how much worse EternityDev is going to get about that sort of stuff.

Chat was really bad during the latest one, constantly trying to spoil the bad sun event for him. I wish he would tell them to shut the fuck up sometimes.

Jobel is a master of being a stealthy little naughty boy who never gets in trouble but I'm not sure that even *he* can contain the mess if this comes to a head. Thousands of jerma fans going "What do you mean you don't what to play tranny furry porn?!".
He's too directly involved with it all.

My theory is he'll be too busy being afraid of them to ever find out they're furry aliens. I hope the dev gets big mad when Joey never wants to engage with the "friendly" aliens.

Also is this supposed to be a weed brownie, a shit brownie, a cum brownie or just alien shit?

E: also found this exchange in the comments of the page on Dr. Kel

I interpreted it as alien shit. Especially because there's an event where you find a trail of them. I'm not exactly sure, but I think you find them around places where the Arirals have been. I don't think it would be presented as "brownie" if it was supposed to be a baked good.
