Has Vinny's repertoire of memes grown staler as he has grown older? He's always had little memes and inside jokes but after awhile he would retire them. It seems like over the past few years he drags out the lifespan of a meme more and more. Maybe his aging brain can only remember the same handful of memes and it's hard to add new ones to it.
 
I have to say, Joel playing "real" games instead of funny haha meme games or games like GTA or Oblivion which have a lot of silly moments is an exercise in frustration. Take Mario Wonder for example, he misses every single secret, skips at least half the levels, and dies repeatedly because he can't pay attention to what's happening on screen for more than 5 minutes at a time. It makes me want to yell at my screen and say, "No you dumb fuck, go that way!"

Oh, and I just want to add that I've been watching Joey for a long time. It's just particularly frustrating when he's playing a game that I have.

When it comes to Joey, I treat him like that special needs kid that wears a helmet and rides a short yellow bus to school. You watch him for his "haha funny" moments and not for serious gameplays.

Example 1: Doki Doki Panic - He kept bitching the whole time that the fact there's no run button in the game makes it completely inferior to SMB2USA... even though when he DOES run in Mario games, it usually leads to him fucking up constantly, as shown in his Super Mario All Stars playthrough (including Lost Levels).

Example 2: SML 1 & 2 - Assumed both games would be piss easy because they were on the GameBoy... which means, something, apparently. Kept geting game overs and complained that they were hard as balls.

My favorite example of Joel's dumbfuckery is when he make the CBT Mario Maker level which took him over 19 hours of grinding to to beat and then Simpleflips beat it in like an hour because Joel accidentally created a skip in the level.

That's just what happens when you stream. You have to both play the game and entertain people, and the mind can't fully focus on multiple things at once. He can be very good at games like completing F-Zero on expert and getting 1st place on most levels / beating Jevil with a single death / doing the turbo tunnel from Battletoads on the first try. But that requires concentration and doesnt't make for the most riveting commentary.
 

At 2:10:00 in this video Joel learns about Edison electrocuting an elephant and his reaction is hilarious. Recommend this entire series in general but this bit had me in stiches.

I like how he even pulled up and read an article about how Edison didn't actually kill the elephant but somehow still came away thinking he killed the elephant. Lmao
 
does anyone happen to have the clip of vinny playing a skating game (can't remember if it was skate, or tony hawk, or something else entirely) in which he fails a combo and almost says "YOU NIGGER" before stopping himself halfway? the VOD used to be relatively highly viewed on youtube but now I guess it's been taken down for the sake of avoiding any further shitstorms. I'd still like to see it though.

I've grown to hate the motherfucker. One of few EU streamers; streams entirely on US schedule. Nothing but loud yelling, same as that other swedish Sims guy. It's actually quite funny, I've met so many young adult furries who worship Vinesauce streamers (despite having nothing to do with each other) and voices of the void is exactly the essence of that. "hey joel should play this, wouldn't it be funny if joel- hey joel look at my OC, joel!".
