At least any smells can get aired out quickly with those big windows. Hopefully whoever lives there closes the lid every time he flushes though or he'd be blasting the entire apartment with shit particles.
 
Does anyone else get the impression that Joel doesn't like video games? Obviously he does but most of the time he's playing he just seems indifferent towards the game and is always trying to rush through it as fast as possible (usually dying several times in the process), this isn't even mentioning his infrequent streaming "schedule."

I get the impression that over the years he realized that people don't watch him for the gameplay because he's pretty bad at most games he plays. He sometimes talks about playing games off-stream, so I don't think it's him not enjoying video games in general. I can understand him wanting to rush through some of the garbage he plays on his streams. He seems to genuinely enjoy himself when he plays something like Dorf or that one Celeste Mario hack.

I could never get into watching Mike, he always seemed just plain miserable, but recently I've been watching some of his VODs (can't really watch live due to time zones) and he seems to have grown a bit less stupid/angry at everything. Maybe it was just the Prague/Germany holiday. Genuinely had some good streams in past couple of months, start to finish. The begging for money thing is whatever. I get the impression that he's a ticking time bomb though, in terms of drama "potential". His community is awful and I assume the Discord is even worse.

He's always been a shining star with games that offer an open canvas like RCT or shitty freeware in VMs, he is a creative guy and sadly most games released now are anything but offering creativity.
 
Had a dream where Vinny died, which is weird because I don't think about him much. Spent most of the day thinking it was real because it doesn't make sense for me to dream that. I still kind of think he is

What recent VODs can you recommend? The last time I saw his full VODs were when he was still M6000W and he played Subnautica to >300 viewers years ago and when he was dropping no-no slurs every few sentences.

Wasn't Mike's Discord sub-only for Twitch and Patreon subs for awhile , or am I misremembering? The foundation of his community has always been the more degenerate Vinesauce viewers that migrated to his stuff in 2015, so I can't imagine that his Discord is all too different from that time period by now. That having been said if Mike got caught for anything worth cancelling for, I think it would be for using faggot, dyke, tranny and other similar words behind closed doors since he only started talking about LGBT stuff more frequently in 2018. Is it possible that he's as dumb as Vinny when it comes to women too? 🤔

I liked the IRL Prague stream where he was genuinely happy and enjoying himself. The IRL setup actually worked for once. He told some jokes, did some bits here and there but the charm was mostly just the angry Italian dude drinking beer and having fun in a foreign country. He's constantly anxious about 'looking/acting like an American tourist' so he doesn't do embarrassing shit like he did in NY. I also liked the first Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy stream that happened a couple days ago. Started with an hour of technical difficulties, then Joel just so happened to drop a song called "technical difficulties" in the chat, Mike fixed his game, and played it with random farts and shit playing in the background. Probably just a matter of taste, but the David Cage hate and dogshit completely infantile humour were right up my alley.

I didn't really keep up with Mike back then, but inviting and actively embracing furfags and trannies in your community always spells disaster. I'm not 100% sure about how his Discord works, but he's very insistent about having people join it and sometimes when he does a community-oriented stream (like the goon caves reviews from 3 days ago) he only looks at subscribers' submissions. So it seems to be open to everyone. He's got no self esteem and little impulse control, so it's not hard to imagine him banging a fan or someone from his mod team. As for saying tranny and faggot, I'm surprised he hasn't had any drama from that. For how often he spouts the trans rights uwu bullshit I'd assume he would be forgiven. "He's grown past that" kind of deal.

Also, thoughts on Joel's new shitpost album? Yeah the songs are jokes, but I think he's genuinely consistently improving and trying out new things. Very exciting to see someone who hasn't reached their creative peak yet.
It's good that he's treating his parody band like a testing ground for Scythelord. I used to not really care about his music, I thought it was mostly generic and badly mixed, but on EBD him and Frank really found their sound. Frank's a great bassist and guitarist and has seemingly been a great influence on Joel's taste in general. I'm happy he's trying to polish his clean vocals because dude's voice really isn't cut out for growling, fry vocals or anything like that. He couldn't pull off non-stop pure thrash/death, so the proggy song structures also really let their songwriting skills shine. Hope he doesn't turn Scythelord into a ska band.

The main difference between Vinny and Mike when it comes to their relationships with women is that Mike does not seem to be afraid of having a long-term romantic relationship with one whereas Vinny seems to be a one pump and dump kind of guy. Each to their own, of course, but one of them seems to be more stressed out by their choice in intimate relationships than the other one.

Everything else they seem to be pretty similar.

Was watching some old Vinny streams precisely because I cannot stand modern Vinny and funnily enough there was a moment where he talked about playing up his "crazy wacky voice Vinny" persona to pander to his audience (01:04:16). In hindsight, it seems more like a premonition than a moment of genuine self-reflection. I also watched his Dreams entire playlist and the difference between the first 20-something videos and the last 3 or so is night and day. Can't tell if he's just going through some kind of midlife crisis or if he just wants more views/money but it's baffling how obnoxious I find him to be now compared to his old self.
