Yandere Dev is not nearly as insane, to my knowledge. He's more of a sex pest, while DrNose is a cumbrain and, I suspect, a victim of Early Porn Introduction. Instead of 4chan's /a/ and /d/ he browsed 2ch. In the game's discord he regularly posts highly detailed 3D renders of his personal OCs fucking in the most gratuitous, non-standard ways. OCs which are, of course, in the game, along with the new modeller's Second Life shark avatar, a modeller who he wouldn't need if he didn't spend so much time handcrafting his own bespoke zorno. On the other hand, he specifically ousted all the Russian children from his channel for an 18+ game, so take what you get. I don't see any grooming allegations in his future, his degree of esoteric autism is simply too great.

Even if the game wasn't the hint of goonerbait always hiding just out of sight, it's just not a good game for Joel to stream. Every single Sims stream does he start from the beginning, but in The Sims you get to the point fairly quickly. VotV does not. It has multiple hours of mandatory tedium at the start. And, since it's a Discord/wiki game, it's always accompanied by a chat that's comprised entirely of JOEY JOEY JOEY GO GET THE CAT GO MAKE THE ROBOT GO TO THE CAVE
When Vinny inevitably streams the game (hopefully only once), it'll be 10x worse.

I'm mostly aware of the degeneracy going on behind the scenes. What pisses me off is mostly how shitty and increasingly worse the game has become. The streams' only entertainment value comes from Joel getting scared of grass or messing with the radio, image upload, etc. Even a somewhat cool (but unrelated to actual aliens) event like the weird meat creature chase is locked behind having to find the coomer tranny OC first. The signals are still all the same, and from what I got in my own playthroughs, Joel went through most of the good main events anyway. Every large update forces players into abandoning their old saves, while the smaller ones bloat the game with such groundbreaking features like "obtuse event where you find a joke character and get nothing out of it", "turn the faggot robot into X character/person", 50 new useless/gimmick items and a whole new awesome falling mechanic where you slip, hit your head and die instantly.
(None of these things are listen in the dev notes because it's funny)

This has gotten insufferable. At least the newest stream only features like 10 minutes of fiddling around with a battery and a flashlight. Cue Joel getting frustrated with a new mechanic, very politely trying to say that it sucks, and epic holesome Devin Chat jerking off and saying something along the lines of "yea you can turn off a setting in the menu but it will actually make it only worse"

Does anyone know of another streamer that is entertaining that does or did binding of Isaac streams with the mod that tells you what the items do?

Very uneventful and boring, wasn't nearly as painful as the YLYL segment though. One thing I've realized over the years is that Vinny just isn't very entertaining when he's forced to "react" to something since he's a normal person and doesn't try to ham up his reactions. Often this means he'll just snicker here and there and occasionally attempt a joke but he doesn't provide any extra value as an entertainer when he's just watching stuff (at least in my opinion).

Someone sneaked an advertisement for their MUGEN game in one of the YTPs though, does anyone know what that was about?

I figured as much. Not to blog too much here, I don't keep up with his streams anymore and after hearing about this one I got a little curious. Also I agree with the last point, since having finally watched the YLYL and like others here said before, he's too formal and with his humor being pretty particular, he comes off reluctant to still being doing it when he otherwise wants to move on to something else.

Assuming he hasn't seen them, I'd imagine he'd get a kick out of Waxinator's stuff simply for the editing alone and sentence mixing. I know he's familiar with Skooks when he used to qoute it years ago. cs188's older YTP sources were mostly mainstream music and cock/sex jokes, both things Vinny's familiar with and the latter still gets a cackle out of him. He'd probably enjoy seeing the more overrated bands/songs getting stupidly editied, but it'd likely be a DMCA nightmare unless it gets Adobe'd post editing and there's often some """le edgy""" jokes in them they'd have to watch out for that chat would flip out about.

Yeah, I got a few minutes in before wondering why I was just watching someone watch YTPs while pausing them and occasionally being confused / rewinding when I could've just been watching the videos myself. Granted I don't really want the hammed up reactions either, so maybe it's just not for me.

There was an absolute shitstorm in the comments about those edits/ads -- apparently it was the editor's first time curating a playlist for a stream and didn't realize it was a faux pas to replace random things in the original videos with self promotion... he responded to basically every critical comment apologizing for it.
