Joel releasing this video right on time to the woman moment is honestly a good showing to how much Twitter inflates situations like this. It's refreshing looking at these comments and seeing mostly no one gives a shit realistically aside from maybe 2% of commenters, Twitter makes it seem like a much larger drama when it really isn't.

There's a legit thesis to be written about the Twitter accusations/Twit Longer/Google Docs phenomenon, if any of us are autistic enough to do a PhD about it. 🤔
 
Just some observations I wanted to sperg about: I don't get the sense Vinny's enjoying Prime 4 as much as he says he is, rather it's something he's going through the motions with because it's just another game in a series he grew up with that's familiar to him. Basically, it's another autopilot playthrough. You know there's not much to talk about when the focus of the discussion on stream is the climate surrounding the game rather than the content itself and it's really been putting him in a mood. It's like he just wants to grill despite the game's faults, but then realizes he's streaming and feels he has to acknowledge chat and whatever it entails.

Also I don't think he's as big of a Nintendo defender as people make him out to be, because the thing that bugs me is he has a bad habit of not seeing the forest for the trees while only getting a small jist of the issues regarding most things, so he ends up being easily duped falling for excuses people make and then spouts them like he's defending faults or bad practices or whatever else, since it seems logical and makes the most sense but misses the bigger picture, or he backpeddles right after if he's not sure, but in the end he usually concludes that he really couldn't care less despite being so wishy-washy and somewhat hypocritical at times. Often times when that's pointed out to him he gets pretty defensive and pissy about it.

And here's the long list of accusations + the Google Document in the description of said video.
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION! TL;DR is after the doc links.
Key Points (2017-2025)
  • SimpleFlips manipulated a fan in 2017 named Kappabun into a relationship when he was at 500-1000 CCV and had 30k subs on YouTube.
  • Within days or weeks of leaving her, in late 2017 begins lovebombing me and we enter a relationship after I separate from my physically abusive partner.
  • This relationship (2017-2021) was controlling and mentally abusive:
** Made me quit streaming yet he was the one to get me into it

** Constantly wanting to go through my messages with several male friends and yelling at me over innocuous things like heart emojis

** Made me delete my facebook account with over 200 friends yet kept his

** Forced me to take plan B after failing to withdraw without my consent

** Forced me to watch p*rnographic videos when I didn't want to multiple times and forced himself on me during one case

** Forced me to hang my phone on the wall at night time and would yell at me for using it

** Punched a hole in the wall and broke his glasses after arguments

** Flirted with a fan while actively dating me

** Threatened to take his life when I caught him cheating
  • After we separated, I wrote a doc in 2021 detailing what our relationship was like. He and his editor respond with 2 docs, containing slander about me that are disproven across the docs listed below. He also badgers his victim fan into writing one who later retracted it after we made amends.
  • He started to pursue that same fan again, begins to date another full-time streamer named Leanne, continues flirting with the same fan and cheats on Leanne with them.
  • Leanne states her relationship with SimpleFlips was also abusive. He exhibited controlling and emotionally unstable behaviors that made her feel unsafe.
  • In 2022, SimpleFlips posts a slander piece about Leanne calling her a crazy stalker, which she debunks, he retracts it.
  • Kappabun publishes her own document right after, proving he manipulated her.
  • The fan mentioned previously publishes that they were also manipulated by him and that he was actively flirting with them in two different relationships.
  • SimpleFlips talks to my legally restrained stalker in 2022 and also locates an ex of mine from 2015, includes information from said stalker which is false in yet another hit piece against me when I supported Leanne in 2022, apologizing half-heartedly to only Leanne and continuing to slander me. He also takes a story about my ex involving a knife and twists it into something I did to him.
  • In 2025 the SM64 community contacted me about my doc and reached out to the others, as SimpleFlips, Cheese, Shift, and Trihex were planning to create a speedrunning org called Full Send to have for profit events. The community did not want SimpleFlips involved due to the multiple serious allegations from many victims and was collecting evidence. SimpleFlips promises to "take accountability and will be making a statement soon".
  • Someone directly leaks this doc to Simple who reaches out to the aforementioned legally restrained stalker to ask her for dirt about me, she posts the DMs publicly. Despite backlash SimpleFlips never owns up to it and leaves the discord server in which the discussion about his abuse was occurring in after a month of silence. No statement is never published.
  • The 2025 compilation doc and our letter to shift/cheese/trihex was worked on collaboratively and then published.

And now, since it's been such a long time, the WALL OF SHAME returns for the Joey's Castle comment section! Just in time for Christmas, yay!

Nothing screams serious accusation more than blasting animal crossing music while reciting your manifesto against some nobody like simpleflips.
 
I genuinely thought SimpleFlips was gay this whole time. Also, I have non-criminal cancellation attempt fatigue. Who fucking cares if he is or isn’t a good boyfriend, I will just continue not dating the guy.
 
I've never understood why people like (do they?) Simpleflips and/or Pokelawls, I can barely tell them apart, they both talk and act like 0-viewers streamers from the very bottom of twitch. If they were collabbing not with Vinny and Joel but with known sellouts I would've just guessed that they're nepo babies buying their way into streaming career, which is not the case since I see people actually being excited about Pokelawls/Simpleflips appearing here or there.

For Simpleflips, his Mario Maker 2 stuff is really good. The dude managed to reach S rank in online versus without ever using the run button. The ways he had to outsmart everybody to overcome his disadvantage is really fascinating and fun to watch.

Same with the uncleared level stuff. He'll play these completely shit levels that were never meant to be beaten and go full big brain mode figuring them out. It's fun.

I don't watch his live streams though, that shit is not entertaining at all.

He also used to make some really fun Mario64 romhack videos.
Not sure if he still does, haven't watched him since like 2020.
 

Vinny is done with Prime 4. I skipped to the end to see his overall thoughts on the game. On the negatives, he called the writing "abysmal dogshit" and for positives he "liked the controls" :lol:
