Social issues like black people in old comics which seemed to make Vinny hilariously uncomfortable cause he mentioned how he doesnt normally ever talk about this on stream. Drug addiction. Drug addiction. Then he just skips ahead and sees Obama and goes to funny characters again and ends up reading about the fucking transvestite street named after a drag queen Doom Patrol (who isnt even a tranny despite tranny flag spam.) Then I fell asleep so it might have actually gotten worse I dont know.

I know Vinny does those segments about cryptids, aquatic monsters, deep sea noises etc. But this was more a like a fusion at that and someone trying to prove why 'Hitler being punched by Captain America in the 1940s and that black guy yelling at Green Lantern is actually the same as modern day comics you fucking chud.' Eithet that or it was just some complete innocent super autistic guy over explaining his hyperfocus made if who was that tone deaf. Either way lmao going from Harley Quinn farting to that black people shit was hilarious. I cant wait to read the youtube comments. Weirdest segment ever in a long time for me. The history of comics is just hitler blacks and fart fetishes apparently.

And then Vinny ended the segment by complaining and telling people to step up their submission quality. I don't know whether to be mad at the chatter who submitted such a hilarious bad segment or Vinny for doing no work and putting no effort into vetting and then getting upset when the segment turns out bad
 
I started to watch a video he had about weird weather patterns or something. This is a subject I am actually interested in, but I had to stop it after just a couple minutes because it was just him looking at pictures someone else sent him and he had no understanding or explanation of what he was seeing. It felt like a grade school show and tell where his dad made the slides and he just had to fake it through the presentation.

I would be interested in hearing him talk about something he's passionate about, but when he's just stumbling through a slideshow with nothing to add it's just a complete farce. Talk about your guitar pickups or something, I care a lot less about that than meteorology but if you have anything at all to say then it's better than "wow, that sure is a big cloud."

Recently I've had to come to terms with the fact that Vinny's really lazy now. His streams seem low-energy, he relies on the stupid voices even more to mask his declining comedy, and he has a team of editors doing shit for him so he likely became used to that, even though one person could quite easily manage three channels and a Twitch. Full Sauce is just VOD uploads, which is a few button presses; the other is highlights, which is easy compared to something like an essay, and the third is his band. alongside streaming, that's still not nearly as much work as your typical nine-to-fiver.

For someone as successful as him, it's not odd that he got used to other people doing things for him. To be honest it's sad but I went off the guy almost completely.
Compare his Fantastic Game video or his Metal Gear Solid highlights with anything he's done within the past few years and it's night and day. He's phoning it in, and likely lost the passion for it as it became a legit job. Not entirely sure where the rabid fanbase came from, but it's likely a mix of mid-looking women who like him because he's slightly above-average in looks and has his own band, and hanger-ons.

That said, I still enjoy his older stuff, from back when he actually had some fuckin' edge to him and let his personality out. I do wonder how much of this sanitised, almost-corporate Vinny is due to his fanbase becoming so infested with a certain substrata of the population who enjoy blue white and pink, that he neither caters to nor outwardly mocks.

If I streamed and made videos for a decade and a half and realised a subreddit dedicated to me looked like his fanbase, I'd delete everything I'd ever fucking done lol

You put very accurately into words something I've been thinking for a long time now. His low energy/laziness is worse than it's ever been.

I know Vinny had many different dayjobs before becoming a full time streamer but these days he seems completely unaware of what a normal work ethic looks like. Why does he pay wages for Johnny to upload VODs for him/make thumbnails when it would take maximum 30 minutes a day post-stream? I get maybe clips and full videos, since those at least take a little while longer - but VODs?

Having watched Vinny since like 2011/12, I also really miss when he would do stream segments himself. He used to assemble his own ROM lists and he did corruptions live. Even though those streams had more dead air, watching Vin dynamically corrupting games with bit injectors to make funny things happen in real time was the charm of corruptions. Now he just goes through a list of corruptions made by tranny fans and vetted by mods (also trannies).

Even though he's lazy, I have way more respect for Joel. He still does all of his VODs, clips, full videos and thumbnails. He's slow, and he's late. But at least he does them and doesn't delegate the work.

Joel doesn't seem like he's changed much over the years compared to Vinny, outside of maybe streaming less. He self-censors more to account for modern sensibilities, but I think if the winds of change blew in the other direction he'd definitely be just like his old self.

The funny thing is, even that highlight-video thing could be a lot easier and he could save some money by doing some work himself.
There are local stream markers that you can attach to OBS as a plugin, meaning just hit a hotkey and it'll make an excel spreadsheet of anything you want to clip with a corresponding timecode. It's simple and it's brilliant. With that, each highlight video would take maybe 30-60 minutes of work at best, and with him only releasing 1-2 videos a week, that 1 to 2 hours of work per-week on highlight videos. It's quite literally the easiest job I can think of in the world, alongside VODS which is just editing out any dead-air intro and making a thumbnail.
I was just complaining about Clemps and Super Butter Buns and ValkyrieAurora being lazy fucks in another thread lol, but it's like a contagion.

These ecelebs are so out of touch with reality and a normal work day that they're insufferable. You're right about the work ethic thing.
Even in his early days his editing was the bare minimum. His MGS3 video used the most basic text edits and it was still a great video. Well, mostly. Some jokes made me cringe, but that's just comedy. But to come up with enterprising ideas like this you have to do things yourself, and Vinny's always coasted off being one of the OGs, streaming when barely anyone else was, and a few viral videos.

It's amplified now by him delegating everything outside of eating, sleeping and shitting to a crack team of mentally ill people while he fucks his fans. I won't begrudge him the success that facilitated that (or getting laid; get in there, Vinny), but you'd think that, over time, he'd wake up.

I saw him on Reddit, maybe a year back, replying to someone saying his new titles and thumbnails were cringe and he referenced the algorithm and his struggling channel, but he still does top-1% numbers, and if revenue is an issue, firstly he needs to live within his means, and second, maybe stop paying these retards to do the bare minumim for you and put some work in yourself. These editors are about as useful as DEI consultation firms.

You're right about Joel. I honestly think he's good because of his haphazard nature lol. He's just naturally very funny, I think, at least on his day. His car-fucking album made me smile, and I still rewatch the AIIIIIIEEEEEE!!!! clip.

Also it's petty but since I'm sperging, I wish Vin would try at least one heavier song instead of being a Nirvana / Radiohead knockoff. His band is good in short bursts, but the saminess gets exhausting after a while. Also collab with Geega more.

Watching Vinny play a collection of anything nowadays is so painful. He's so impatient he skips the rules and tutorials for everything and then gets frustrated when he doesn't know how to play. Whenever the game shows the slightest amount of push back or challenges him in any way he just gives up and skips to the next thing.

I don't get the point of showing off some of these things on stream for 30 seconds until he goes "seems cool but I don't have time I gotta move on."

If the stream had just been funny haha panels or weird characters it would've been the perfect segment. But instead whatever faggot submitted it had to shit it up with mucho texto that Vinny clearly wasn't interested in reading, with 0 entertaining substance. Just focus on the funny for fuck's sake it's a Sunday stream not a fucking backdoor for your video essays to be read by pizza pasta man.
 
I couldn't stop laughing at him trying to quit the game when he summoned the Charlie Kirk nextbot on S&box, probably one of the few funny bits about watching him suffer these days.

It's insane how sensitive people feel the need to act these days, especially considering the type of shit you used to see on Vinesauce (and anywhere else online for that matter)
I totally understand the need to be careful when it's your livelihood and there are maniacs online 24/7 ready to report you for the slightest misstep, and corporations ready and willing to listen to those maniacs. I just think it's absolutely fucking bonkers that we got to the point where we're respecting these clowns and handing them the reigns instead of telling them to grow up, learn to take a joke and stop being fucking autistic like we should be doing, all in the span of only 15 years.
 
After reading so many comments about it here, I clicked that Comic Book History video expecting the worst and it was such a fucking nothing of a stream. He got mildly uncomfortable at worst and told people to summarize their submissions better. You schizo motherfuckers play up the weirdest shit.
