Those pictures are glorious. Looking at that old Chatango UI is giving me flashbacks. And holy fuck, I forgot how awful the website used to look. No fucking wonder they've all but dropped it now in favor of Twitch.

Went over to Fred's stream because I haven't been there for years and got banned for pointing out he's balding.

Every time I catch a bit of a Fred stream, he looks worse and worse. It sort of depresses me watching him, so I don't. Plus, I never found him all that funny, anyway - he's really only good when he's bantering the other streamers, especially Joel. Unfortunately, since that almost never happens, his streams have basically zero quality to them.

Also his hair is god awful. Balding or not, that cut is a fucking disgrace, and he should be ashamed of himself.

I think he blocked me rather than banned me. All-cause I was a little concerned he kept getting game overs in some kinda SMW race, I asked about grinding lives and he flipped the fuck out at me. So I fuckken closed out and just went to watch BeeKay's side.

I know this is rude but it seems like he's lazy about self-care like showers and brushing his hair.

He did look decent-ish in a recent picture he took with KY, but otherwise, he looks a little greasy. Maybe the dude is depressed? idk.

tl;dw: Vinny got tired of the same artist(s) that only draw Tomodachi Life art over and over again. Also people were kinning Vlinny, and Vinny are not happy about it.

It's a shame. I like some of the Miitopia art for how bizzare some of it is. Though it seems like these artists that Vinny refers to seems to draw only Tomodachi Life.

I remember some of the first videos of Vinesauce I saw after Vinny's castlevania corruptions were the Joel and Bran Synergy streams. Great videos even now. When I started exploring the community and the forums back then I saw an announcement post about Bran leaving the vinesauce team to focus on school or something along those lines, but he ended up streaming for another group instead? From what I can remember of the forum post it put a bit of bad blood between them and since I'm assuming Vinny made the post (it's been a long time) it disappointed him.

From some searching it seems the forums are down for good, likely replaced by the reddit. It's that or I'm retarded and haven't looked hard enough. If I remember correctly it was an old standard BBCode forum. Chances of it being archived are slim but anyone with older Vinesauce community knowledge might be able to dig it up.

I always wondered why Bran fell off the face of the earth so suddenly. I wasn't particularly interested in him as a streamer, but just like Fred, I thought he was funny in conjunction with the other streamers, namely Joel. This explains a lot, though; his departure did feel really out of nowhere. I saw him comment on an old Vinesauce video several years ago responding to someone who had asked who Bran was, but the channel had very little content on it. He probably gave up on streaming in general; I haven't heard of him in years, unless he's going by a new name now.

I know I keep bringing up old shit, but it's like every time a question gets answered, a million new ones pop up. In this case, the question is: Did something happen regarding the dev of The Fantastic Game and Vinny?

I was just rewatching the original Fantastic Game highlight, and it reminded me that a few months ago, I read somewhere that Fantasticaneer and Vinny had some kind of falling out which led to the dev stopping all work on The Fantastic Game. I tried to dig up some info on it, but I haven't seen anything that expounded on it outside of just stating that they had some kind of spat, and I'm really curious.

What streaming sites could he go to besides Pornhub tho? (i'm an idiot and don't know where any gaming stream sites are) I say pornhub cause it'd at least cut off the teen troons and SJW who are triggered by the name porn hub. There's youtube but I heard its way worse than twitch.

He did a long time ago upload some stuff there but that's as much as he did.

And at least on porn hub, Sunday streams would be more fun if he got sent stupid funny porn games.

Some semi-decent could be DLive, Mixer and Youtube Live. I'm sure there are more, like Caffeine [which has the stupid gimmick of not allowing anything beside their shitty client to stream] or obscure ones like Vaughn.live, but PH is still the best one, imho, the toxicity level is almost always low, and they pretty much allow for any kind of content. I remember someone doing economy lessons in PH live.

edit: Discord is also launching is "server-wide" streaming thing. Pretty much what TwitchApp\Curse Voice had a long time ago, back when it was usable for voice chat too (they removed it for no reason after they got bought by twitch, lol).

Nah, it's time you guys stop being delusional. Vinny won't switch platforms and he's not as bothered by the teenage trannies as we are because quite frankly they're flooding his bank account with Twitch money for doing the funny. And what's a better life than getting paid for playing games and referencing stuff that mostly only the OG's of the Vinesauce community understand so it goes over anyone else's head? I've got a strong feeling that Vinny knows where the community's headed, but he's also aware of us older members being there and that's why he's still making his references that the new-ish community members don't understand. Reminds me of Joel's VineWrestle two days ago where we had Quario and what not as wrestlers and 80% of the chat went "????? who is that?" only for Joel to laugh/go "YEAAAH" at the ones who still remembered him.

So let's just leave them be. If Vinny wouldn't be aware of his situation, he wouldn't be so good at hiding any propaganda. But the money's apparently great, a day has 24 hours, and he basically gets to do whatever the fuck he wants for 18-20 hours a day and some 24 when he just doesn't feel like streaming but the money still rolls in. What's better than that?

Unrelated, but I'm curious what Joel's "meeting" was yesterday morning. I mean, he doesn't have a job (other than streaming). Maybe his bank's acting up again, that used to happen quite frequently.

There are options, but the fact of the matter is they're not anywhere near as lucrative as Twitch. With the Amazon backing, Twitch is just the best choice - they have the most money making potential and a small semblance of job security thanks to the subscription system and things like bits and donations. Twitch as a platform isn't so bad, but it's obvious that whoever is behind the PR side of things is doing a piss poor job. They need a more detailed blanket rule regarding things like the usage of slurs/offensive content, because whatever they're using right now is doing fuck all. You can't just say "zero tolerance" and then let PewdiePie say the N-word for the 50th time that stream because of how much revenue he generates. (Does he stream on Twitch? I don't care; my point still stands.)

But that's all beside the point. Streamers like Vinny need fan interaction, and Twitch is the best service out there for real time streamer-viewer interactions and accessibility. That's the bottom line. He's not going to give up the money because of a few annoying people in chat. He's gonna bite the bullet and take it like a champ, and in a way, that's sort of respectable.
