It dumbfounds me how these people HAVE TO KNOW if these random internet video game players support their political cause. They will never meet either of these two people in real life. Why does it matter what some random dude in New York and some random man in sweden think about their life choices? These people don't even know your fucking name, holy shit!

I seriously cannot imagine how fragile these people are, how the fuck do they get up in the morning without checking to see if the birds outside support transgender rights? God knows how many hours they spend headcanoning that said birds are trans themselves and in a same-sex relationship. If the word "faggot" or even something as dumb as "[x] fictional character says NO to trans rights" ever appeared on a Vinesauce stream, these people would physically shatter into a million pieces.

It's just like Chris Chan having to draw an entire issue where Alec Benson Leary and his crew are murdered violently by the Sonichu gang because they basically did the equivalent of invading his fictional world and going "nuh-uh" which drove him into a frenzy.

God forbid this person not validate people he doesn't even know personally every fucking second while he's trying to play a video game. Somehow, to these people, it's a "problem" that Vinny isn't a fucking mouthpiece for their ideals. This fucking internet funnyman has to be a warrior for them all the time. I'm sorry, I have to ask - do you guys not get bored complaining about "trans rights" all the time? Genuinely, because I've seen it just as much as all of you, and it really doesn't bother me at all. Like any meme, I think it's become so dissociated from its origins that it's basically lost all meaning, but other than that I really don't have a problem with it. I can't understand getting so salty about something that is inconsequential at worst.

spend enough time on twitter, and "trans rights" eventually means nothing. i actually don't give much of a shit about real trannies, but 99.9% of the trannies on the internet are troons lmao. there are definitely trans people in the world who are secretive about it and functional members of society, but those people are very, very few and far between, and definitely not on twitter screeching "trans rights!!!" over and over. they know it makes them look awful.

also yeah the guys are pretty mundane about their politics and stuff which i think prevents them from a lot of cow potential lol. that just makes me glad i was always into joel and vinny more than fred haha.

Early-mid Vinesauce is my absolute favorite era; I discovered their stuff pretty early into their streaming careers, but didn't get fully into them until maybe a year or so later. There are so many videos I can recommend, but I'm gonna go with some lesser known ones that are hidden in Joel's channel (since, if you didn't know, Joel's channel used to be the general Vinesauce channel):

GTA IV Assortment #1 - A very good example of what Young Joel was like. Funny, quick-witted, and a little bit tiresome after too much of him. Good thing this video is under 3 minutes! I recommend watching the rest of these, too.

Doom - If memory serves, this is actually from Joel's first ever stream for Vinesauce. It's a fucking crime that it's so short, but everything in it is gold.

Sega Genesis Classics - This is one of a very small number of FearGingers's videos that are still accessible. It's pretty emblematic of what his streams were like; muted, not super hysterical, but still comedic and fun to watch. I really wonder what happened to him, since he quit streaming after moving to somewhere in Australia (?) and then just completely vanished. I keep hearing rumors that he died and that's why the streamers no longer talk about him, but I really hope that's not the case.

Vinecops - I think I've posted this one before, but I absolutely adore it. This is from when crossovers between the streamers were frequent, and while I find the streamers (sans Vinny and Joel) pretty underwhelming on their own, as a group they're absolutely hysterical. Also particularly fond of the gachimuchi references in this one; they're few and far between now.

DayZ Bad Survival Tip #2 - All their DayZ videos are gold, but this one's my favorite. Young Joel was such an unabashed dickhead. It's hilarious, but I'm also glad he's matured since then.

What bothers me about the spamming and "trans rights" shit in chat/on stream is it obviously makes Joel, Vinny and even Jerma (who always has to deal with that shit in chat) uncomfortable, it also ruins chat.
If it didn't do that I wouldn't care, it's annoying, not a huge deal but annoying. It's a meme, a meme that some people do take seriously and like those tards whining online about Vinny not saying it or that guy getting mad because Chat rightfully was annoyed.
They know why people don't want to see it, they know it makes chat go wild in both directions.

GPM came close when he got into the drama that got him kicked off the team. Think it was brought up somewhere in the thread, but essentially he was ebegging claiming he was nearly homeless while talking about buying frivolous shit like $300 SNES flashcarts on Twitter. I really like Red Vox, but I have similar tastes in music as Vinny. Also really appreciate the job they did with the Vinyl releases, got What Could Go Wrong and Another Light.

Vinny's music doesn't do it for me at all. I know everyone says this, but I have a pretty eclectic music taste and can find enjoyment in (almost) any genre, but Vinny's music just makes me feel absolutely nothing.

I'm not big into metal so I've not listened to a lot of Joel's actual music, but from what I have heard, I can tell he's incredibly skilled and competent with his craft. Even his joke songs, like the two Beef Zones and the Dr. Thunder theme, are so genuinely well-composed that I can tell he's just great with composition in general.
