Vinny suggested that he'd most likely watch Akira, which is honestly the best starting anime he could watch. I only pray that he doesn't go off and try to get himself into more anime after that first viewing.

I can only imagine Rick and Morty type overquoting and shilling if he actually gets into anime.

For what it's worth, judging from what people were saying it sounds like Ghost in the shell does that whole "What's the boundary between human and machine" type of thing too that he may be into since he likes Knife sprinter.
 
But will he use dry beans or he gonna buy a lot of canned beans to dump in his computer?

Much as I love JoJo, from what I know of Vinny it wouldn't really be his cup of tea, and that's if he could get past the retarded legion of redditors that screech about it constantly.

I obviously don't know anything about Vinny as a person, but from what I can glean, over the top shows like Jojo probably wouldn't be something he was interested in. I can see him easily enjoying Akira, and I bet he'd love Satoshi Kon's work too (Perfect Blue in particular comes to mind), but I can't see him getting into anime in general.

Oh I know he’s not the kind of guy to be into that stuff, I was just pointing out how fucking weird it would be. I think he’s going to watch akira, maybe check one or two things out and then stop.

Also vinerealms didn’t look half bad, I might check out Vinny’s future streams of it.

I'd say the only unbearable part of the game is the Lupin Desert area. It's the area that NorixWolfe and DesertP inhabit; For some reasom they can't talk like fucking adults and they have to say words like "henlo" and "choccy milk". At least there'll be a Liam Gallagher joke that Vinny can wholly appreciate.

Henlo is also one of Desert's emotes (the little pogona waving) and there's a recurring community joke about chocolate milk that's been around for about two years. Back when Best3000 was still active in the community. He isn't around as much as far as I know. A really cute game by Barkscript was made that was one of those "launch the object" games. So it's a callback to that. I don't think they did their own writing so it was most likely a community member.

That makes sense. From the way Vinny reacted to his NPC's dialogue during his stream, he didn't have any involvement in how he was portrayed. The only one who did directly handle their portrayal was Joel and the shitty 10 minute dad joke.
