I've been feeling the Joel burnout for a while now, he was never super consistent with his streams but it's been really bad this year. It feels to me like he's ready to hang up the towel soon too, or at least take a very extended vacation while only popping in every now and then to say hi. Him completely abandoning Twitter and all of the other off-stream ways that he interacted with his community (deleting his contact email and not making a new one, etc) just reinforces that to me.

Meh, I wouldn't look into leaving Twitter. It's developed into a cesspool - especially since Tumblr migrated over. Vinny has pretty much given up on it too, and he's far from the only one. It's just a daily dose of negativity and hatred that's become unavoidable regardless of who you follow due to politics/social issues becoming intermixed with escapism. And if you complain about that, or even stay silent about certain issues while tweeting about other things, you're "part of the problem".

If not for memes and sports, I'd drop Twitter too. As far as Joel is concerned, apparently he's been busy lately renovating his place. And even if he's just using that as an excuse, the man just might need a break. I don't think he'll give it up anytime soon.

I think you guys might be looking into the Civvie comment just a tad too deep. Maybe Vinny recognized Civvie as another old /v/ approved streamer, but at the point he was doing so he was pretty fed up with Alien Anarchy and didn't find the cutscenes he was looking for.

It is funny though, when looking over Civvie's twitter, I noticed he played the game not too long ago. Which could mean whoever sent him the game suggestion had also watched the video and may be a fan of Civvie. I don't know of any beef between them honestly unless it's something related to /v/ that happened long ago. I doubt it's anything to be concerned about.

Yeah, I think it's probably nothing. The simplest explanation here would be something like "Vinny didn't wanna play the game anymore and anyone who wanted to see more of it could just watch Civvie's video (or possibly has already seen it) so there wasn't much reason to continue". Especially since the gameplay of Alien Anarchy/Varginha Incident is a repetitive slog that doesn't lend itself very well to being entertaining for a live broadcast.

Joel currently losing it on stream (as per usual). It started with the unexpected Smash reveal and now he's making his own Smash reveal with a ton of different characters. He's currently on Superman.

Damn now we're getting 3 more minecraft streams from joel. Thank you Mr.Sakurai

vinny discouraging tier 3 subs is why I'm still watching, gotta love the limited shilling

(outside of redvox, but yeah i don't care about that because if you do lots of stuff with your band, and then also talk about your life as part of your dayjob, you are gonna mention them regularly)

I like Vinny shilling Red Vox and kinda miss the random stories about recording What Could Go Wrong? back when. He doesn't even charge for RV music either. He even had one of his mods upload their albums to The Pirate Bay.

Not gonna lie, it's been months since I last watched a Vinesauce stream and enjoyed it.
I don't know why the streams have been feeling so lackluster, but it's come to a point where I haven't watched one in almost a month. (:_(
