Honestly, I really don't think Mandalore was directly involved, not because I trust him. It's because this isn't the first time someone has asked him to tweet something that got him in a lot of trouble within the hour because he didn't do his research. Guy is just genuinely really gullible and having your friend circle probably explode over this and #believingallwoman probably really did affect his judgement. I think people are looking way too hard into Shammy and Mandalore saying similar shit when it's not hard to imagine people posting similar things when they very visibly do belong to the same friend group and need to instantly backpeddle from overwhelming dislike for the exact same reason.
Back in May of last year he tweeted out a survey for a guy who was supposedly making a Warhammer 40k RTS and needed suggestions. The survey asked you what factions and kind of gameplay you wanted to see from the RTS. But, it also asked for your email. Mandalore deleted the original tweet with the survey but, still has
his apology up. If the guys making the game were grifters or impossibly optimistic retards, either way he happily gave away probably his own and hundreds of his fans email addresses.
Here's a massive chain of tweets debunking Warhol studios for those interested. Said tweet chain was made by someone who got made a mod for their shortlived Discord. So, again, if Mandalore was happy to signal boost (he used this same termonology in the now deleted tweet) some nobody's go-nowhere project; there's no trouble in my mind believing that his friends telling him to do so and showing him spotty evidence wouldn't have a similar affect. I can 100% believe Mandalore is a wokey though. With the people he hangs out with and that he very rarely uploads a picture of a comment from his videos making fun of it, twice now it's been rightoid opinions. He's right to call them out because they're usually
exceedingly retarded, but that he calls them out at all is interesting.
