I just want to preface this by saying I'm one of those oldfag-turned-sjw faggots, so obviously this is not my space to speak, sorry to shit your forum up kiwifrends.

With that said, what the fuck are they even supposed to be the "victims" of? Being fucked, having their heart broken? They really put together that document, airing out a man's private life and deeply private information, over some shit that barely registers on the radar as an asshole move, let alone "sexual abuse" or whatever the fuck.
It's not even about whether those emails and chatlogs are real, it's not a fucking "I can tell by the pixels it's fake" type of shit. It's about the fact that even if they were real, they fucking mean nothing. I've read them all and nothing even remotely incriminating was ever said. It's just a sort of melancholic guy talking to girls who are receptive to what he's saying.
 
I really hope vinny the best. If he doesn't come back I'd understand.

Ditto. Been watching him since 2013, but I won't blame him if he decides to call it quits after he resolves this fiasco. It's been a good run of laughs, insanity, and good vibes watching his stuff from its heyday to now.

Man, just what a really shitty thing to have to deal with. The law can be slow and the process tiring and stressful.

I’m so glad Vinny is lawyering up. It happens too often that people who have frivolous allegations thrown at them just lie down and take it. I believe that Vin is strong enough to make it through this bullshit, and hopefully it can even set a precedent for the future so more innocent people aren’t hurt.

The day he had Hbomberguy on the podcast he cohosts was the moment I knew he was going to inevitably slip up. At first, I thought he simply got along with everyone, now I’m thinking he’s just not a particularly good judge of character.
 
Also want to express my well wishes for Vin. Hard to see him like this, especially after how hard he's worked over the last decade to carve out this slice of happiness in his life between his streaming and his music. He doesn't deserve to have his hard work taken away from him by some morally-bankrupt members of the pronoun squad making half-assed allegations.

Hoping his mod team and friends give him some real good support over however long he needs to deal with this. Eagerly looking forward to having him back in the near future after he's swatted some of these flies with authority.

First of all I accept your apology for shitting up the forum.

Secondly yeah basically. Nothing actually illegal happened. The only thing that would even be able to be taken to court would be that Vinny knowingly gave someone HPV and even then they can't prove that he did it on purpose. He probably wouldn't even know he had it since it's very hard to detect in men.
 
It’s honestly so jarring. If there’s anyone who’d know how to take this situation well, it’s Vinny i think. Something about this gives me a feeling it’ll not exactly be a long suit
I’m wondering about how the other streamers will react. Mike already defended him a while ago, but I’m really curious about, say, Jerma. This is going places

I don't know, I think Vinny has an end of streaming plan set in place in case things go tits up. Especially after all the DMCA fuckery and the ban he had. I hope I'm just doomposting for no reason but he sounded extremely defeated. Not even pre 2014 depressed Vinny ever sounded as bad as he did tonight.
 
I think after the precorded part where Vin talked live he got emotional because of all the support he saw in chat. He knows how much he is loved. This is all still fresh for him right now. Its going to take some time but I believe he will be back.
 
I sincerely support Vinny if he decides to quit streaming or come back in some limited fashion, but let me just say goddamn will it suck to have no more cozy Rimworld streams or crazy Cyberpunk Mondays for the time being.

I would say at least 2 or 3 weeks would make for a decent vacation to clear his head a bit and destress from the situation.
