Vinny is not a strong person. He refuses to engage any drama. He refuses to engage any political topic. He just sits on the side and has gotten by by ignoring it all. His mods lurk this thread and have handled shit for him for years so he can just ignore it. He hasn't learned to handle the drama himself (tone of his voice in that call is that of a frail puppy scared that consensual sex will ruin his life) so when it finally came he sounded like he was about to break down because he never learned to deal with it himself.

He needs to wake the fuck up and just own this. Nobody gives a fuck. Everyone who's not actually retarded is on his side. He said he felt misrepresented and his privacy invaded in his statement so just spend some time to get over the privacy shit, say what happened, ignore the retards who sit on Twitter and call him a terrible person for having consensual sex, and keep doing what he enjoys; streaming.

I sort of disagree on this exact point with regard to the current situation (although I generally agree with everything you said).
It can’t be easy to issue a statement where you don’t simply accept the accusations regardless of their truth value; he even said “I know I haven’t done anything wrong.” Saying that and not knowing how people are going to react, especially with how quick people are to jump on cancel bandwagons, I dunno man. Standing up for yourself like that, in my opinion, takes some strength.
