Boundy Break and the related shows are pretty solid and don't really have any e-begging that I've seen, but I don't watch his streams which might be different. At the end of the day his channel is a business and Shesez is relying on sponsorships, merch, and subs to make a living. As much as I respect the Vinesauce streamers for not pushing monetization, I'm not going to fault personalities that do as long as it doesn't get to Wings level of e-begging. I do look forward to his charity segment, apparently he was on there last year playing Mario Party with Vinny, Ross, and Criken and I've always enjoyed him and Vinny on stream together.

About 2 years ago some artist that Shesez hired to do some channel art tried to come after him because YouTube cropped the art in a way that the artist's signature got cropped out. Rather than be a well-adjusted person who simply asked about the situation, the guy decided to start threatening takedown notices against Shesez's entire channel over the art and the channel is Shesez's full time job. And in some relevance to this thread, GPM joined in with he artist trying to cancel Shesez. If he's still paying attention to the internet, GPM must be full of seethe that two of the creators he went after are working together and being successful.

Speaking of GPM, did he ever delete his Discord server or whatever he promised to do, or is it still up?

Dunno about his Discord server, because joining eceleb Discords is for girls.

But his Twitch Channel, and both youtubes are still up. The videos are all either purged or put on private. Twitter still exists but the Tweets are protected. Twitter and Twitch both say "On Hiatus". Full on lack of commitment all around. Wouldn't be surprised if the Discord is up but nobody can talk in it.

Quick question cause I didn't played too much attention
Jerma makes his dollhouse stream around the same time as charity stream. Do they go over each other or not?

What the hell is wrong with his thumb? Seriously, is this some illusion that I can't unsee or did Cheesy just really make some malformed lobster claw for a thumb? Why does he look exactly like Shesez? What does this design have to do with space?

thumbbb.png

But also, who? Has any member of the Vinesauce crew really interacted with Alpharad?

Alpharad is an unfunny Smash-obsessed YouTube man whose videos will fucking never leave my recommended no matter how many times I hit "not interested".

What was cheesy thinking with these designs? Its not like her normal style and its like she didnt give a shit because it wasnt her husbando Vinny. These are really terrible and halfassed.
I said this before everything in the last 24hours got deleted, but the space theme was a good idea that has been executed very poorly by fan-artists with either no skill or understanding of the theme. Limes space mermaid being a prime example.

They need to be more picky on who they have do 'official' fanart for events.

I've tried going through several of his videos, and they all feel agonizingly boring and obnoxious. I'll probably avoid his part of the charity streams since I doubt he'll be any less obnoxious on an entirely unscripted stream compared to videos where he can already edit himself to be less obnoxious.

This hand is all kinds of jank, it looks like he's got the animal crossing circle hand, which is fine, but then there's two additional fingers, which makes it look like he has an unnatural amount of fingers, it also looks like a claw as you've described.

I hadn't actually looked at the other designs until now, so I'll go through and review them all, because I have nothing better to do I guess. Also a nice refresher for those that haven't seen any of the designs, or their original concepts.

Already covered Alpharad's design. I didn't know he was friends with Vinny, but still, he feels like a weird inclusion.

Limes is uh... ignoring the kind of bad art, and looking at the character sheet design, it's still kind of bad. The space furret is kind of cute, but if she's some kind of "space mermaid"... why does she need a helmet? Or is she just supposed to be an alien mermaid, and the helmet's like a fish bowl? It says her helmet's like ship shielding, so I guess she does just swim through space?

joel.png

joel2.png

Joel's obviously rocking the Saiyan vibes, and honestly I think I like his design the most. According to his concept sheet, he's a freaky android that can transform, and has butt missiles, so that's neat. Sounds like some thought went into making this one sci-fi.

rev.png

Rev, I get he has to have the gas mask, it's his aesthetic, but he looks more like a post-apocalyptic character than a spacey one. But hey, whatever, I can believe he's some bounty hunter or something. Can't find his original concept.

dez.png

Desert looks like a fantasy character with a space helmet. Kind of weird, but at least he has a space helmet.

shez.png

Okay now we're back to Shesez, and I guess... this is just the "guest outfit"? Like the Assistant from SS13, some custodial uniform. Sure, okay. It being a hoodie, and the same color as Alpharad's, is really weird though. And again, it really just looks like Alpharad put on sunglasses and a hat and now he's Shesez. Do neither of them have really defining mascots or traits to be used in a design? At least his mitten hands aren't horrifyingly deformed like Alpharad's.

dorb.png

Dorb's got... spacey, techy things, I guess? He's definitely suffering the same "we enlisted an artist that draws fantasy characters, not sci-fi ones" issue as Desert.

EdPigiNXoAAMFtU.jpg

I mean just look, his concept designer (and like Limes, the concept art looks a lot better than the finished product?) made all this for Vine Realms last year. Dorb's and Desert's designs would fit right at home here.

dezart.jpg

Actually while we're talking about Desert, here's his concept sheet... and he looks more sci-fi-ish! Weird, maybe just the artstyle/colors of the final piece makes me think fantasy.

fred.png

Here's Fred. He uh. Is Fred. Does he have a wingsuit? Is he Batman? I can't find Cheesy's concept art of him, so they might not have posted that publicly. I'm getting the impression as some sort of community project, every artist made a concept, but had another one draw the final piece? Since every one of these has "Designed by:" and "Final product by:" and none of them are the same, except the two guest streamers, who were both designed and made by Cheesy? Maybe I'm looking too far into this. Point is, Fred's incredibly bland. Aside from the weird fins and wingsuit though, his outfit's sci-fi enough I guess? Not really spacey, but whatever.

vin.png
vinconc.jpg

The sauce boss. He looks fine. Nothing outlandish, he looks like a space crew member, fits Vinny just fine. His floating hat's a little weird, I just thought it was falling off in the art, but apparently it floats.

zott.png

GreatZott. Big fan. He's actually an astronaut! We went through how many characters before one of these showed up? Plus he reminds me of the walking corpses in that one Doctor Who episode, so that's cool. Why couldn't the guest characters be in astronaut outfits like this? No concept art, but the final design is fine enough.

ross.png

It's Ross. I guess maybe Cheesy isn't to blame for the design of the guests then? At least Ross looks like he's in a jumpsuit, not just a poorly colored hoodie, so it's definitely Cheesy's fault that the other two look so bad.

gear.png
gearr.jpg

Gearomatic. Looks like a cosmic entity, solid design.

vidya.png

Jeff... VidyaBum. We're back to the fantasy-itis. Or, I guess since this was the first one announced, this is where it started? Also Cheesy drew this one? Sheesh, really must hate that they had to draw Alpharad and Shesez, this is way better than them. I was gonna say this isn't Halloween... but it's Jeff, so I guess a spooky design can be forgiven. But why a swamp monster? Cause vines? I can't find his initial design either, I guess because it was a collab, was the same with Zott.

tl;dr

I expected to be horrified by most of the designs after seeing Alphrad, Limes, and Shesez, but honestly most of them aren't that bad. I mean, a few are, but with this many artists scrambling around that's inevitable.

Jabroni Mike will be participating in the charity stream this year, hosting a multiplayer block supposedly for Gartic Phone. Looking forward to it, Mike is hilarious and it'll be nice to see him participate in ViH finally.

Vinny/whoever's in charge of fullsauce's Twitter account seems to be having a rumble with YouTube, changing the profile name.

they will dock the streams, foreskin over foreskin, interlocked

I came here to post this, the name change is hilariously petty, like changing your name on tinder to OKAY SO I GUESS SEVEN INCHES ISN'T "ENOUGH" like how fed up with the Susan Bureaucracy is poor johnny right now?? I feel for you buddy!

Cheesy forgot the part of Fred's design where his hairline is receding and he has his slimy, greasy, extra-terrestrial cock out like he did in that nude. Without that, if you asked me who that drawing was supposed to be based on, I would've absolutely said Darren. Speaking of, we haven't seen Darren in a charity stream for years... is he really that boring? That is a trick question.

VappyVap88 walked so that John Fullsauce could run. RIP to Vappy and stuff, but Johnny is actually based and deserves the praise he gets. Anyway, how incredibly ironic that Youtube could generate a response like that when their featured videos section is the textbook definition of lacking creative value. I hope Johnny linking them The Fart Cut gets things resolved soon. 🙏

They completely missed the opportunity to illustrate Fred as a fatter, greasier Zapp Brannigan. Shame.
