I watched limes for the past few years casually but I think I hate vtubers. I didn't even know I did until now because I have literally never watched one just seen reaction images with them. It's just the style is the most modern kawaii ugu shit I have ever seen, so much that it makes me sick. lol. They make them so pastel and light there is no way to even ignore it. I'm not even not a weeb but I just fucking can't watch vtubers man.

I watched her streams the second most after Vinny and her regular schedule was great. Oh well...

Yeah, I get what you mean. It feels like an evolution of streamers/youtubers turning themselves into a fictional character by making plushies of themselves, but now instead of plushies it's commissioning a popular artist for a vtuber avatar cause that's the hot new gimmick trend. Of course if it works for them and they get more profit more power to them, but personally I don't care for it.

He mentions that himself whenever accent talk comes up, Joel hates other Swedish twitch streamers because they almost always have a very heavy accent that reminds him of how he started out (he doesn't really hate them is just annoys him)

I honestly preferred when he had an accent.
Then again I just like Joel's older videos more than anything recent he's made.

But then you have Joel Kinnaman pretending to be the republican candidate for president in House of Cards or anything else he's in. He sticks out like a sore thumb while Joel seem to have learned good english by listening to butt metal while living in the north bottom.

Joel has also mentioned how just consuming a shitton of American media and hanging out with mostly American friends on voice chat for more than a decade is what helped him adopt the American accent, which is not something a lot of people have available.
This is also what happened with Limes accent but unlike Joel who takes pride of not only being fluent in English but having a perfectly understandable American accent, Limes life is suffering because she's British and everyone just looks at her weird when she speaks or think she's from America when she's lived her whole life in the godforsaken islands
 
Does anyone else watch or know of Vidyabum? He was a mod and friend of Vinny and I started watching him a year ago. He seemed pretty cool and always streams horror games and stupid youtube horror animation which kinda reminded me of Vinny Sunday streams.

But the guy is kinda snapping at people lately and I just had to post or vent about it somewhere. A couple times someone asked about Vinny in a few words, something like "Do you know anything about when Vinny is coming back?" and he just started going off on them. I don't just mean 'fuck off' (which I would have understood) but just the bitchiest pissy shit about how some people should never open their mouths and are the most miserable people in the world. I just figured dude was taking the Vinny thing hard and going through shit because he knows him personally but it keeps happening even now.

And this is pretty funny but he watches these shitty horror story animations outsourced by some foreign country that hires people at random, so sometimes there will be white characters white characters with the deepest blackest black guy voice and people will ask 'why is that guy white' and he goes off on them about how weird it is to say that. And once he was worried that saying the Chinese meme for oh my god was cultural appropriation. But he was never preachy or political past that or even seemed to ban anyone who said things.

He was going off on someone for the Vinny thing and a lot more I don't want to get into unless someone cares.

It just seems fucked up to rage on people when they can't even articulate words back due to the nature of chat vs talking through a mic. I legitimately felt bad for first person who asked about Vinny they just seemed so confused and got shit on hard.
 
@Anon The Mous its's probably something to do with treating vinny being on youtube instead of live on twitch as still being gone, when vinny has said he feels more comfortable like this

nah, he played it for quite a while and seemed fairly amused, he did moralfag a little, but in a bemused "lol THIS is allowed??" way, but considering that it was pre-recorded and he could've stopped early and not uploaded if he was actually booty bothered, he even sounded like he was up for a second session at the end.

Eh, fair enough. I think he was just playing it up a bit for the sake of keeping some of the more...unsavory types from getting angry at him, even though you figured those types would leave after the totally real and egregious accusations.
