A Lego lover in the United States has broken one of the most painful Guinness World Records all in the name of charity.

Russell Cassevah from Virginia now holds the record for the world's longest barefoot brick walk after traversing 36 metres of Lego earlier this week.

In a video uploaded to his Youtube channel, Mr Cassevah can be seen slowly shuffling down the length of broken Lego pieces during his record attempt.

The record attempt was staged to help UK charity FairyBricks, which donates Lego sets to sick children in hospital. The organisation had 2000 donated Lego sets stolen from a delivery van in November last year.

Record attempt happens at 38 minutes in.

I thought when the OP said "broken" that it literally meant legos in cracked and jagged pieces. Disappointed.

Badass as fuck though. Should have done it twice.

>36 meters

>36

I saw this number a lot today, I knew someone would achieve the impossible and walk that painful walk.

After the record was broken, what can only be described as an overripe, anthropomorphic pear with a horn and covered in sparse seaweed was spotted scooping the legos into a sack and quickly waddling away, escaping into a dilapidated house.

Really dude? You couldn't make it an even 40? They weren't even directly on the floor.

But yea, stepping on a lego is legit grounds for calling in sick.

Pretty heartwarming, honestly. Someone risking certain pain for the purpose of helping a charity? That's definitely good.

Don't ruin it, man. Be a normal, good guy.
