Man I can't take the term mating press seriously anymore without thinking about Bae and IRyS shenanigan's. Same with the word Monopoly.

On a real note though, I kind of sympathize with him in him letting people know his boundaries with these things. I mean he kind of gave a middle ground approach stating although he dislikes and uncomfortable with it, he doesn't think they should have to stop with doing it. Just not bring it up to him or show it to him. I don't see that being controversial.

The problem is Myspace had a really long time frame before Facebook killed it. Though what I'm basing her age on is that she was in school and underage when MLP was out, which means she's in her late 20's at the most, but would suggest she was younger.

Really the Vee connection is the thing that surprises me the most about the whole thing.

I have often heard from a few people living in Japan (Trash Taste, Chris Broad, Sharla, Tokyo Lens, Texas In Japan) that often it was easier and cheaper eating out than actually buying and cooking.

Can't speak from experience, but the prices I've seen people mention out there, it seems way cheaper to eat out there than in the USA. They don't seem to have a service economy so it doesn't appear like the costs are transferred to the food unless you're going somewhere nice.

Not exactly, there were kids who were on MySpace simply because they had older siblings or cousins who were on it. If kids today could have Tiktok and Youtube accounts, then kids back then had MySpace. It's not too farfetched for kids to have some sort of old school social media accounts back then.

Plus, it was right around the time Youtube was also growing bigger and Deviantart was a thing too.

Well her incident ended up cancelling the whole collab, some people will blame her for this even if it's not Kiara's fault that other members wouldn't just continue without her or do something else, honestly it feels like holo EN would jump at any excuse not to stream this days or do the bare minimum. Myth is pretty burned out since like first half of 2021 already but I don't feel like Council ever tried, I guess we can only hope there will be at least some people who actually like streaming (they don't even need to be great at it).

I dunno how someone gets as old as she does without cooking. Didn't she live on her own in Japan? How'd she survive without knowing how to cook?

Japan is huge on eating out and it can be cheap too.

I still watched Vee from time to time, his channel is not really growing (probably some Susan shenanigans honestly) but he seems to be doing just fine earning $ while living in Rumania, he streams to 100+ people on a fairly regular basis. From what I remember he first got into Vtubers around Myth debut so you can say gypsy is a little more legit than Fagmenco, although he was a filthy tourist casual and seems like it took pippa with her gunt rants to really get him into it, he's trying to groom some 2 views this days also uses some basic L2D troll model for some streams.
Anyway he said things along the lines of "of course all of them have boyfriends because all funny, confident women would have one" pretty much from the start, long before he could have any special contacts in the industry so I wouldn't take him too serious.

Facebook was on the losing end of that battle. Myspace just got real shitty luck, they were purchased by Rupert Murdoch around 2007 and their execs didn't know jack shit about running a social platform. Their stale code had no scaling and they went with worldnet (lol) and by that point it was a mess rife with bugged ads, spam, garbage dead links and unstable to use.
By comparison the Zuckerbook was sleek, had no ads back then, allowed for scalability and just swept up as more new people began calling Myspace "that pedo webpage".

That's kind of the thing, we don't know if she's 24 or 28, but if the ages she said before are false then we don't really know when any of the stuff happened like the vomit drawer. Could also be chalked up to depression, though really how did I get stuck "defending m'lady's honor" here? She makes enjoyable content and sometimes it's best to not meet your heroes in a sense.

Kiara was the organizer I believe, so there was little point in continuing the collab if she won't be there. Ame is still planning to stream today, I have no explanation on why Ina and Fauna didn't decide to stream something else, but it's still kinda dumb to think they don't try or they don't like streaming without knowing what is happening behind the scene.
