So there's wierd glasses that are coming out that you basically use as a substitute for a TV. You can also use 5g to play your ps5 when outside.

What do people think of them? Are they the next big thing or just gimmicky overpriced shite?
I seen some stuff on reddit saying it could be a scam since tech companies would be investing in them. if it were such a good idea they wouldn't need a kickstarter.

The skeptics were saying google doesn't have this technology so why would a small independent business have it?. There's also the nreal air that does the same thing as the viture one.

I can believe that they have the technology, like a miniaturized royole moon if anyone remembers that. But i feel like this will be one of those things let down by details, but id be stoked if it worked. Dig the idea with the neckband too

If someone can actually implement augmented reality in a meaningful way it could take off. GPS waypoints, personalized irl ads and basically being able to see all that google location based data irl would probably be the next big jump in social media.

If it's more bullshit VR media it's going to fail.

Supposedly they're not very good if your in a sunny area, I could see them being useful if your on a long commute.
