Vladimir Putin is a Sperg

According to a 2008 study released by the Pentagon, Vladimir Putin is alleged to have Asperger's or some other form of autism. Could this explain many of his actions as President of Russia? Discuss below. The link to the article is right here:

Autism and competence/capability aren't mutually exclusive.

As already mentioned, being autistic doesn't automatically mean you can't do anything right or only perform basic tasks. The typical autistic person is not a Chris-Chan clone. If he is an aspie, it's probably very mild and/or he probably got a lot more help or experience in communicating with people. The latter is especially useful for people on the spectrum to be able to deal with people. In fact, many aspies/auties who want to be able to fit in to tend to study psychology and people's behavior and might actually have an edge OVER neurotypicals. Because they learned to work with people like a skill and have an understanding of what happens underneath every interaction instead of it just happening like most people.

Also it helps that he was probably only very mildly autistic and was in a time and place when he was forced to know how to work with the system he's in since it is expected that everyone do it and the whole 'you're special' mentality didn't exist. To be fair, the whole 'you're special' is something very recent in today's society. In the old days, aspies and high-functioning autistics were just considered the odd guys out but were still expected to make their own living, and many of the more mildly autistic people tend to be far better adjusted and functional as adults (many adults with Asperger's do not look or act any differently than other people, at least not in public). You had to be very severely autistic or mentally disabled to really be cast out or locked up in the old days.
