this, honestly when he's on his meds and not under his delusions he's pleasent to watch, and he doesn't try as hard to be funny with gamer humor so when he does say a joke they are geniunely funny, i forget what livestream it was but we saw him ON his meds and it was like he was a different person and i liked it, he's a good guy i don't think he has a bad bone in his body i think when he's in that persona to fuel it, he has to feel big and powerful

tldr: jace just got dealt a bad hand and is actually a good guy when he's jace

I'm pleased to see that Jace is a lot more lucid and possessing at least a degree of introspection. Whether this lasts or not is another matter, but it shows that he is capable of reaching a place where he is able to start assessing his problems.

More than other lolcows, I feel for Jace. I've had mental health issues in my life, and overcoming them can be a real challenge, even with a good support system (which Jace doesn't really have, aside from Rob). So it will be difficult for Jace, and I very much doubt we've seen the last of Stryker, but it would be great if he stays on the right path. Jace, in his own way, is a pretty charismatic guy, and seems pretty nice when he's taking his meds.

It'd be cool if one day, if he got well enough, he could do a vlog on mental health issues from the perspective of a sufferer and help raise awareness. But for now, let's hope he can even progress to average dudebro. Either way, good luck Jace, this is where you need to be brave and truly honest with yourself.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. I think Jace really is a big bigot but the thing is if there was a magical medication that totally treated his mental issues he'd then have enough sense to not make it totally obvious. Most people will keep their opinions to themselves if they realize that the company they keep would disagree heavily. His dudebro/Stryker persona plus his ego is what makes him unwilling to learn or empathize. If those got torn down and stayed down then he could possibly learn to be someone people could stand to hangout with. He might be willing to learn that you can't catch teh gay and that muslims don't follow a vampire ruleset. It would take something huge to do that though. Is he a decent guy? Nah. Could he be a decent guy? Yes, but I could also win the lottery.

If he's on anti-psychotics, or should be, then psychotic behaviour (such as unwarrented hate/vitriol) is kind of understandable when he's not medicated. He may very well NOT be a bigot when properly medicated, and assuming his bigotry isn't part of his mental health problems would be unfair to him.

Most of the behaviors you are describing come down to narcissism. Jace has always had that and there's no medication capable of treating it. He's not going to change those behaviors much, if at all. At most, I expect him to be more in control of his emotions, less delusional and gullible, and less obsessed with his fantasy world. His massive ego, insecurity, refusal to ever admit he is wrong, and pandering for validation are deeper issues, ones that he's had since the very beginning and I don't think he's going to be rid of them without serious help. At least, I can't imagine Jace as anyone except a narcissist.
 
I think out of Molay, Chris, and TGK, Jace has the best possibility of turning his life around. He shows more self awareness, handles the trolls with much more grace and humor--even challenging them to try again and laughing at their face. He has an active social life and even if his friends are shitlords, it's better than hanging out with Barb all day or jumping around in your underwear screaming and jacking off or whatever TGK does all day. While Gail is fucked, it seems like Rob looks out and cares for Jace (he also didn't inherit the crazy genes since he's adopted) whereas Cole Smithy and Barry actively resent their brothers and want nothing to do with them. IDK about Gabe and Dave's relationship, but I assume Dave is too busy doing blow off the cleavage of a groupie to deal with his half-brother's tard rage. It took a lot of courage to make this video, and I really admire Jace for admitting to these things in order to better himself.

Even if he does calm down and go on the right path, I think he will still produce entertaining content because he displays an interesting combination of cleverness and complete and utter ignorance.

That's a road-map to turn Jace from... Jace, to your average, forgettable, awful dudebro youtuber. I don't think he'd be happy though, because the interactions are what fuel him. He's hit the point where he needs immediate, constant validating in a way that Pressing 1 fakes. Introspection is really hard, there's a reason a lot of people never get better, because admitting fault, admitting personal failures, asking for help and then having the stomach to follow through with it, that's a awfully hard thing to recognize and do.

If it happened, he'd be able to join the few and the proud amongst reformed lolcows that went on do make something of himself.

And that's a success worth a like vote.
 
I agree with the posters who say he seems fairly nice when he's chill and not delusional. It's sad, you get the idea that he could be doing more with his life.

Then again, he gets in these moods where he's unhappy with his life but then goes back to his Stryker fantasy land.
 

Jace is upset because can't find anyone to hang out with because they have school/work responsibilities (which he calls selfish) and he's afraid that he might have to resort to hanging out with Tyce who is in the midst of a Jenkem bender.

He also claims he's "sober on his own terms" which means he's going to AA but still smoking weed.
 
Things of note from Day 3:
  • Jace. Is fucking. Bored.
  • Parkour makes Jace feel much better, but free-running by yourself is lonely :(
  • Anyone who goes to college or has a job is fucking selfish.
  • Tyce won't shut up about his Race War or his huffing Jenkem...
    • ...and Jace only wants to hang out with him as a last resort because he's getting really weird.
  • Jace is sober "on his own terms"...
    • ...which means that he's only doing weed but nothing else.
  • He wants to sell the shrooms he bought back to Kyle, but Rob things that's not a great idea.
  • Writing is too much work, way too much work, especially when you're not getting paid.
  • Jace hangs out with Rob every chance he can get, such as going to a baseball game in Maine.
