There's so much talking about grooming kids. I knew it was bad but this is pornbrained insanity. They wear the title of pedophile in such an unabashed way like a badge of honor, proudly putting it on their VRchat characters.

Ugh this game. I used to play it a lot around 2017-2020, and post-covid it became genuinely unusable due to the pure degeneracy of it's community. It used to be pretty normal VR nerds hanging out and talking nerd shit, but it slowly got infested with coomers to the point of being unusable. Pretty much every public lobby is either screaming children, and pretty much every private lobby is coomers looking for people to hook up with for ERP. If you aren't in those two groups, then this game is pretty much unusable to you.

It's basically discord but 1000x worse.

I'm too lazy to see if this has been brought up yet but this shit bothers me lmao. the avatar wasn't "ugandan knuckles" it was just a chibi knuckles avatar based on this other popular knuckles.
The meme was called ugandan knuckles because it was people doing ugandan accents while wearing knuckles avatars, not because they wore a ugandan knuckles lmao.Hard to believe it's been 6 or 7 years depending on if it's the OG animation or the who killed captain alex reference spewing goblins.

Did you know that BrandonFM and other YouTubers who expose pedos are hated by the VRChat community? Why? Because, as they claim, he's spreading misinformation and paints the community in bad light

This game has some pretty weird shit on the front page, I played it once to try it out while live on a call with my friends and it went horrible. I joined this weird FNAF world(?) and all of the characters were these weird degenerate pornographic versions, almost everybody there sounded dead and I specifically remember this one person who sounded like they were 7 in some anime girl avatar. Logged out after that.

even if VR-Chat is full with disgusting, sad freaks there is at least 1 cool thing that came out of it:
A rather interesting music scene in the form of VR-Raves. A ton of different artist / DJ's made some cool content that I still come back to listen to from time to time.

A great example would be that one del del del del del who made a ton of catchy trance/techno sets that are bitcrushed and reverbed in a manner that is, paradoxically, really a treat to listen to on good headphones, given that one enjoyed vaporwave in the past.
Some Sex-trance artists also took to VR-Chat to promote their music.

I'm currently slacking off at work so I'll post only a single link here wich is a great set by del del del, maybe i post some more later but i don't want to derail the thread:


As a side note:
I don't know why degenerate freaks tend to produce amazing electronic music (sewerslvt for example) or are good at DJ-ing, but man, just imagine what they could achieve if they would get their shit together.
