Great OP, fell down this rabbit hole myself a while back and had some good laughs watching those VR pred catching videos. There's one guy who did some long-form ranting on the subject I found entertaining and somewhat cathartic but I can't for the life of me remember his name, only that he used an avatar that was like void-black with a red outline and maybe demon horns? It wasn't either urghbla or verum, if anyone knows who I'm referring to and could remind me his username I'd be highly appreciative.

How does this nigger not know pedophiles want this even more? It leaves kids venerable and alone with less people to intervene in such a case. Plus why do minors need to play VRChat so badly we'd have to come up with all these retarded gymnastics? It should just be adult only. I'm seeing a pattern and no one just wants to admit that maybe the only way for minors to be truly safe if anyone gave a shit is for a law that prohibits access of the world-wide Internet alone without active parental/adult supervision.

These videos have the same vibe of the secondlife vids and these are clearly the same kind of people that inhabit secondlife doing fucking nothing but whatever this is and threatening to ban people over mild shit like watching them from the sidelines. Recently "investigative commentary channel" (and I guess VRChat predator hunter, from what I've searched up about him) Sileskios made a video on MissBreezyKawaii, and while it's good that someone like Captain BAZ is getting a light shone on him, I can see why the Glass thread dislikes the guy:

  • In general it needed to be looked over more than once
    • "Includes a video of herself recording her children while they play games" followed up by "this person is actively around children at all times, and it makes me very worried for these innocent youths around someone who they don't really genuinely know"? I agree that MissBreezyKawaii shouldn't be around children, but come on, couldn't be bothered to clean up this line?
    • Feels like half of this video is filler and could (and definitely should) have been cut out
  • While I get this is probably to avoid harassment and demonetization, using "she" and "her" for "Miss"BreezyKawaii stills irks me enough to put it as a point here
  • Why does he censor the ages? Is that another demonetization-avoiding thing?
  • Does he really have to read out the chatlogs? Who's planning to watch this video in the background?
  • He needs to stop trying to be funny because he isn't funny
  • It takes 5 minutes (out of a 20 minute video) to get to the meat of the video, the grooming Captain BAZ did
    • He's clearly just taking images from the "10. 1 Past Pedophila Scandals" folder (under the "10. Pedophilia Allegations," itself under the "Controversies" folder in the Google Drive) and not doing anymore investigating after that.
    • Not only does he somehow get 8 victims (there are 9 victims covered in the folder he's blindly reading from) but he doesn't even cover 8 victims, only 5 :story:

  • I can't believe Sileskios didn't bring up CPS trying to take his kids (would have added to the "don't trust this guy around children" message) or the 9-year-old being groomed (which Captain BAZ seemingly admitted to), a cursory search through some of the Instagram accounts archived in the Google Drive would have revealed that.
  • "VRCHAT PREDATOR" is in the title but Sileskios doesn't bring up anything related to MissBreezyKawaii's VRChat activities, you would think a VRChat-related channel would talk about VRChat related incidents.
  • Sileskios contacts MissBreezyKawaii over Discord asking him to explain himself, what did he think he was going to accomplish?
  • Sileskios doesn't link the Google Drive, only a brief mention of "Maxwell and the others" to congratulate them on compiling everything in the Google Drive.
TL;DR: Sileskios can't investigate for shit. Better than nothing but only a lazy, brief surface-level attempt at exposing Captain BAZ/MissBreezyKawaii, which is probably fine for a random drama channel, but is not what I expect from an "investigative commentary channel." This is what passes for "investigative" content these days?

I'm glad I didn't click the youtube one because it starts with the same manipulative slow talking video essayist shit where they space out every other sentence and try framing things as even more dire tot he point it gets fake and gay. Starts out by talking about how the age restriction is the same as the most of internet stuff is "13+" but then flips it and acts like it's being marketed towards children and people int heir 20s-30s are some mysterious menacing entity that don't belong there.
