I remember this one appearing quite regularly, actually. She used to stream often as Mel Nekomata, decided she wanted to get away from the people who were making fart compilations out of her, so she at one point rebranded to Alice Ch, using a brand new model. At one point during this time, allegedly the hacker known as 4chan accessed her Twitter account and did what you'd expect. Allegedly her bank account was also compromised. People started threads about her on /vt/ discussing her and her situation.

She had since rebranded with another new Live2D model as Saki Kawasaki, and then changed back into Mel Nekomata. I can only imagine this is due to her accepting her fate that people who knew her previously will always recognize who she is, what she became known for, and follow her wherever she goes to tell the tale.

Personally I think the "hacked by 4chan, bank account compromised" ordeal was bullshit, when the threads were live there was the vibe that the OP of the threads was her. Of course since 4chan is Anonymous, there's no real way to tell, but this is what I prefer to believe. I also find it hard to believe her bank account was compromised considering during this whole series of events she effectively burned through 2 Live2D models and is now on her third. They are expensive for both the artwork and rigging, I can only imagine how much money she's blown on this.

Edit: This collection of what I have to assume is burps and farts was also posted in one of her threads. I know not what inspires people to do this.

Honestly, the thread should really just be /wvt/. The vtuber thread that already exists is enough to contain the Hololive related lunacy. However /trash/ and /vt/',s western threads are something else.

The Vtuber thread is incidentally reporting the drama. It's just a general thread so it gets polluted with people discussing Vtubers casually. At least when one of those people come in to complain we're making fun of them, it generates content. A containment thread for drama is perfectly fine.

In the OP, there's a screenshot of a poster who was banned for a staggering 30-reply samefag post. This is the most famous post in a long line of activity from the /vt/ poster dubbed "orcschizo", who was probably the most rabid individual anti in the short history of the board.

Orcschizo was exclusively dedicated to shittng on Kiara Takanashi, an EN vtuber from HoloMyth. Kiara's roommate, Keekihime, is no stranger to drama, and has a very long internet history dating back a decade. In a nutshell: teenager moves to Japan to become idol, deals with loads of drama and shit idol industry and then becomes streamer and cosplayer. For more info on that you'd have to go to archived threads on lolcow.farm, the PULL archive, or the Multimedia vtuber thread, as they discuss it in much better detail and this topic already well known. The reason this is relevant is because her vast internet footprint provided orcschizo with a large amount of ammunition in her campaign to ruin Kiara. Orcschizo alone is probably the origin of 90% of the rumors, rrats, and slander of Kiara on the internet.

According to orcschizo herself, she was actually active on 4chan for months before posting in an identifiable way in April 2021, corroborated by this anon's post:

This continued for nearly a month until orcschizo was eventually rangebanned from /vt/. As a result, she began to post the same shit on completely unrelated 4chan boards and was promptly rangebanned from 4chan entirely. Around this time, she began to explain the reason she hates Kiara so much: she auditioned for HoloEN and believes that Kiara "stole her spot":

Unable to post on 4chan, she became so desperate that she began communicating through chat in poal.me surveys that were posted on /vt/. This is when anons from /vt/ began talking to her directly to mock her and eventually convince her to stop being a menhera:

As a result of the poal.me chats, orcschizo repented and replaced her dox document with a long apology (archive) and DEBOONKING the myriad rrats she was responsible for creating the past few months. Orcschizo's document has been sparsely updated since and exposed the existence of an anti-Kiara Discord server behind much of the Kiara hate posts on /vt/ since she quit, which led to the doxing of its egg-shaped leader (archive). Interestingly, she has vaguely hinted at being involved in something "Hololive-related" with no further elaboration since.

Actually strangely heartwarming. Maybe there is hope for schizos yet. The hero /vt/ needs, but not the one it deserves.

I kinda doubt it. She's actually a managed V-tuber with Phase Connect, and I can't imagine them wanting to get that involved with the ongoing drama. On the other hand, though, Phase Connect seems a lot less strict than companies like Hololive.

Edit: well I guess I was wrong. She's been talking about a lot of lolcow stuff this stream. (mostly dobson so far)

Well, I think a lot of them know that most of their audience are people from that general side of the internet, or they're from non-western countries that don't really care about cancel culture. I don't recall which one it was, but one of the English v-tubers has mostly Russian viewers.

They're based in Canada… but they're not based in Japan and they're not pretending to be an idol management company, so they don't have to adhere to Japan's standards of management. As for Pippa herself, if you watch her streams, she very clearly knows where to draw the line; she's not a loose cannon being edgy for its own sake, so it seems management trusts her to be capable of keeping things within bounds. (It also probably helps that she's one of PC's biggest streamers by subscriber and watch count, and while that doesn't necessarily correlate to income it's generally pretty close.) Maybe PC will have to crack the whip a bit more if they start getting bigger and more "corporate," but for now they definitely feel like a mom-and-pop shop that doesn't feel the need to enforce the rules and dress codes of the bigger chain shops closer to the freeway.

I just want to add for the sake of those that don’t go on /vt/ there is a meido summoning “ritual”/meme based on this now. I see it whenever threads become a certain level of shit and people want to provoke Janitors into cleaning it up.

Of course they also spam porn as it’s more effective to just do that to stir the pot (it’s a blue board so NSFW is disallowed)
