There were multiple points at which she could've just stopped digging, but she kept going and none of it would've happened if she ignored it, like anyone internet famous is supposed to.

I want to see it continue because the total lack of self-awareness needed at every step of this trainwreck is hard to believe. When I saw the cuck tweet I (alongside many others) thought it was photoshopped.

In the absence of tranny propaganda, this is the closest thing to a corpo vtuber 'get woke go broke' moment, and it's mind-boggling that there are people on Kiwifarms going "yaass slay kween tell off those incels". Anyone with that takeaway has completely misunderstood that this is a narcissistic injury and she can't stop digging.

She is 24-25 and as far as being a drunkard. . .nah. She isn't even close to being as far gone as a true alcoholic. She might have a bit of a problem insofar as she lets it interfere with her work. . . but that doesn't necessarily scream drunkard to me. Drinking in the afternoon is the poorest excuse I've heard to point to that yet. She doesn't keep 9-5 typical work week hours anyway and day drinking is a national pastime in America at this point.

As for your compilation. It was good, but I think you threw too much conjecture in the notes. 'confirmed,' 'proving', 'lie,' etc. . .There is a plausible or alternate reading of a lot of those bullet points that are just as, if more valid. You just kind of threw out the most negative interpretation for the milk. I get it, but there it is. I don't expect you to sift threw the 30 pages in the other thread, but most of those alternate points or nuances were brought up.

Like I said, it was good, but not perfect.

A year and a separate thread later it still seems like there is a weird degree of defensiveness regarding Mori in regards to any kind of drama or shizo-drama. I think its funny just seeing shizos going crazy with whatever sort of conspiracy style string map they've developed of how this will be the downfall of Hololive, and a talent fueling drama because she wants to do le epic dab on those shizos. Should her fans not be gay babies about who she interacts with? Yeah probably. Should she know how to handle things better by now? Yeah definitely.

Few things:
1. I never claimed to have the more unbiased summary, someone else characterized my description as such.
2. I'm actually not someone who closely monitors vtubers at all. Almost complete outsider. Most of what I know comes from overhearing chatter from my offsite chatroom friends, and the summary itself came from /vt/. I even noted that in that post.
3. Try to apply that logic to other lolcows here. Like Ethan Ralph going to Portugal. Do we just say "oh well, he's going on vacation", or do we say "OMG HE'S TRYING TO OWN SOME OTHER GUY, WHAT A COW"? The latter obviously, because this is a site about making fun of people and developing ongoing narratives that put people in a bad light. And I enjoy making fun of vtubers.

And last of all, I think regardless of how it is phrased, Mori is still very much in the wrong and should be loyal to her coworkers rather than trying to earn internet points with some random podcast. She is not untouchable, and encouraging drama like this only helps sites like this one - not her channel or /vt/.

Although I never quite found out who exactly, I'm at least aware for somewhat powerlevel-y reasons that some of the worst schizos from Calli's fan groups (and some of her biggest donators from a year ago) do happen to lurk the Farms and /vt/ (provided a few of them aren't active in the thread already), so it's no surprise you got this really awkward degree of defensive reactions whenever anything bad is said about her.

Your points are fair, I was just pointing out my notes-on-the-notes, so to speak. Point three is why I said I get it. I try to at least take a more sober look at these things when I see the other side covered. As for what I quoted; valid. While I disagree that she is in the wrong due to loyalty (my interpretation from watching a more broad clip of the Conner quote while keeping timeframes in the back of my mind led me to a not-so abrasive take. Stupid and crass, but hey, he's a Welshman), it could have been handled better.

On the other hand, the tongue-in-cheek response to the tweet is typical of her humor, while the chat call-out was a long time coming in my opinion. These kind of things have been prolific for over a year if you watch her streams, but this one was the most flagrant. All in all, yeah, this really only helps alternative sites like this rather than her career, as much as I think her actions were understandable.

Far as I can tell, SALTE's still keeping himself busy with his vtubing business as Airah Shunken in-between bouts of self-loathing. As for Lord Revan, I remember SALTE saying he was personally friends with the guy and I, myself, always maintained friendly relations with him, at least until he bailed from the pre-chat Discord server, presumably because everyone there was a little too spergy for him.

People have theorized that she’s being punished, but it’s actually that she’s releasing an album under DemonDice in the next couple days followed by some kind of surgery. So it’s most likely a “hey, not gonna set a schedule because I don’t know when I’ll have free time” kinda thing.
