There was this recent tweet I read from some guy known as "Oliver Jia", and it's been embedded into the very bedrock of my consciousness. My recollection may not be perfect, but I'm pretty sure the gist of the tweet was this: "the internet has not facilitated the universalization of information, but the generation of the most insidious types of echo chambers."

Think of all the big e-celebs that could have stepped up and openly criticized the transgender movement (it's not like it would take much intellectual effort), but didn't do so out of fear of trannie screeching, or fear of losing monetization/sponsorships/their Patreon, or fear of losing e-friends, or wanting to be "nice" and "friendly" and "agreeable" and "not mean" (i.e. not being called a "transphobe" or a "bigot"), or because they genuinely agree with the transgender movement in some capacity or another (likely because they themselves follow Breadtubers or left-wing video essayists, or are e-friends with a trannie). This has allowed for troons to build up massive echo chambers and cultivate significant institutional and infiltrative power, such that they feel emboldened to harass people simply for buying a Harry Potter video game, all because no e-celeb wanted to be "the big transphobe meanie-head" by simply calling out troons for their bullshit and standing up to fighting back when they get screeched at in turn.

The fact that the biggest and most prominent criticisms of the transgender movement on social media come from Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire (and other Conservative Inc. types), as well as Libs Of Tik Tok, Freedom Toons, and Tim Pool (of all people) is a big sign of the sheer intellectual cowardice that many of these "influencers" have. It's especially inexcusable for all the social commentary e-celebs, for whom shitting on men pretending to be woman should be a slam dunk move, but I guess the term "safe edgy" exists for a reason.
