A lot of boomers annoy the piss out of me. I find them selfish, narcissistic, stubborn in their refusal to learn new things etc. But thinking you’re going to inherit some glorious paradise once the last of them kicks the bucket is just stupid.

A lot of the problems in modern society have been caused by millennials. Yeah you could say they learned it from their boomer parents, but as they’re so keen on telling you how open minded they are, you would think they would realize the extent of the damage that has been done and take steps to fix it. Boomers had their hippy dippy thing, but even most old boomer hippies I knew/know are appalled at the tranny worship, the push for pedo rights, the complete laziness and entitlement from younger generations, they see Portland and L.A as Sodom and Gommorah

Boomers can be annoying and I’ve had my issues with them, but I’ll take them over zoomer faggots and their arrested development millennial parents any day

No what baby boomers started will snowball harder for generations that follow
Millenials are broke, zoomers and generation alphas will have even smaller chance to own property, house, car, etc.

Waiting boomers to die won't fix anything when recessions permafucked future generations. Once they're dead Zoomers will blame their late Millenial parents and so on. Anything past generation alpha is dystopian hell, granted if society gets that far.

I think a lot of the problems people have with boomers is the fact that they are the ones that have pushed for, and enacted legislation that has fucked over everyone else.

People give a lot of shit to zoomers, but I do think they'll learn to be less stupid, as optimistic as that might sound. Having fag shit being inflicted on them so young will make them resentful as they grow older. Most millennials are a lost cause though because they believe they have affected this change of accepting faggotry through their power as a group. They enjoy the power it gives them over other people.

Nothing would really improve. If anything it'll be worse since the following generations have been dumbed down even further and the boomers wealth isnt being transferred to their offspring anyway.
"Things will get better when all the (white) boomers die" is the dumbest thing I've heard Null say. It's kind of surprising since his political commentary is usually better; I think the schizoid-autism and not living in America may be getting to him.

Personally, I'm shocked, appalled, and deeply hurt that the niche micro-celebrity said something wrong on the Internet. Who's political advice will I pretend to follow now?? 😢

I think the idea for the right is that taking part in politics when you're young is dumb because you'll just get manipulated by said boomers or fedpost your way into a criminal record , but if you wait until you have more life experience, wealth, connections, and other things that tend to accumulate with age you stand a better chance of actually achieving something. Modern medicine guarantees the gerontocracy we see now because people live so long, and even before it most nations were run by their elders. It's not that your generation will be based and redpilled, but that you might be equipped to do something about it by then.

This line of thinking does make me wonder if one factor that keeps boomer ideas in power is the glorification of 1960s youth activism. It misleads each later generation into blowing their load at age 20-25 and getting all jaded and blackpilled when it didn't work as advertised (e.g. Occupy Wall Street).

I think boomers have some blame and where horrible for our society, boomers since there where teenagers they had a lack of curiosity in anything unwilling to learn things they don't care about. Boomers are the reason trad culture in the west died, as teenagers they had no interest in learning the old folk song, dancers church traditions or whatever from their grandparents. The reason the millennials are so into being gender-specials and other identity nonsense is because boomers and their obsession individualism is part of the reason sjw-ism is a thing. They where called the "me" generation after all. However the boomers dying will not fix this since the millennials will jut be the new boomers, but with just more extreme postions. For anything to change would require society to realized that every political/ and social movement since ( also including) the enlightenment was a failure.

Boomers did have apart in why Gen Y turned out like they did. Boomers were the ones who came up with the "You're special" thing. They were also the first gen to punish their children with only spankings. If two kids got in trouble it was always the "other kids fought" because they were raised wrong and the "good kid" was raised right.

Waiting for X group of people to die off instead of doing things now is a cucked position that insures any adversaries you have will keep the upper hand. If you want to start changing things, get married and have kids. Teach those kids your ideals. Don’t let the people you don’t like control all of the future generations to come. By waiting, you are wasting time.

I am not hopeful that the right in the US is well positioned enough to take institutional power when the old guard dies. There's a lot of discontent under the surface, but even a security state run by Millenials has enough power to keep their peers from organizing. And the US right has historically sucked at organizing.

An existential economic crisis is the one of the only things that can change the character of society. Disastrous social cancers related to the family structure are a function of massive surplus. Troons can't exist in a society that actually has to plan where it's next meals will come from.

The next best thing is standing up when you can and learning how to organize and build a robust network that's less vulnerable to government intervention. The only major advantage the right has is a closer connection to the logistical realities of sustaining an industrial society.

Live a full, principled life, and be happy. Eventually people will see. People crave lasting happiness, and you bring a lot of light into the world when you present a viable alternative to the degeneracy spiral.

As awful as they are they are literally from another time. They don't understand the modern world. Listen carefully to some of their catch phrases like ''I got a job with just a shirt on my back'' and '' too many people want to sit at home and get a big welfare check'' - you will quickly realize they are living in a world that no longer exists. People don't get jobs by walking into a place with just the shirt on their back and government cash assistance in terms of a ''check'' ended back in the 1990's after Clinton's welfare reforms. Boomers are just out of date. They don't understand modern life.

In a sense that generation is from another world. They just happened to be born at a time when the entire industrialized world other than the United States was either in ruins or rebuilding from WWII (purchasing American products in the process). I think that fuels the entitled mindset and unwillingness to learn that is commonplace among Boomers, although not all members of the Baby Boom generation are Boomers.

Those who experienced real adversity or poverty have a lot different attitudes from the Levittown types that had everything given to them from day 1.

Nestor was right

Zoomers will just call Gen X-ers boomers and continue on, while continuing to vote against their best interest and being shit at working.
They already do that. Zoomers call anyone their parent's age a boomer, and their parents are Gen X.

To answer the question: Total Boomer Death won't solve anything. They already made the first world completely dependent on labor from the third world. Everything is outsourced to china or india, everything else is done by an underclass of immigrants. Every new elected official will be scummier than the last. They will work hard to keep removing your rights while a crowd of your peers protests outside the capitol to take away your remaining rights. Companies will keep getting bigger and they will continue to collude with the government to make sure no one else gets as big as them.

The pods will be built, the bugs will be cooked. If you don't go in the pod José will. Pradesh will eat your bugs before they get cold. They will do it with a smile on their face and say "thank you, could I have some more?".

It's a continuing downward trend that Boomers had a hand in starting but will keep getting worse no matter what.

I can't even blame boomers for this, Gen X and millennials are still mentally stuck in the 1990s-2000s.

I used to be the sort that considered Boomers responsible for most woes but now I think they're simply one of many albatrosses that weigh down on the US population. Gen X turned Millenials into mentally unstable latchkey kids. Millenials then began violently shitting on everything and flailing around, wallowing in it.

Identity politics and all this sort've stuff isn't being championed by Boomers. The obscene state of consumerism that has reached new heights that even Boomers think is shocking.

Everyone has some responsibility for it and should focus on improving rather than trying to offload the guilt to others.

It may be the dumbest thing you’ve heard him say, but it’s far from the dumbest thing he’s said. He occasionally makes a profound statement on matters of freedom of speech and expression, but other than that he’s not the sort of person anyone should be taking their political cues from.
