The Washington Post is planning to release an article showcasing never before seen pictures of dead children from the Robb Elementary School shooting.

Parents of the dead children seem to not like this idea all that much.

The Kiwi Farms is the scourge of the Internet for keeping the New Zealand shooting online but here we have the Washington Post publishing images of dead children against their parents wishes with the intention of profiting off it. Journalists are vermin.

No, you can’t have the full Nashville* manifesto, that’s private information. Can I offer you an invasive view of a family’s grief instead?

Edited for clarity, got my shootings mixed up.

Is the double standard like this that Journalism is so fucked right now. They're just buzzards looking for corpses to gain a profit from it.

I just don't understand how someone can sleep well after trying to pull shit like this. It's so egregiously evil.

You are mixing up Nashville and Uvalde. Nashville had a manifesto and was a pooner, this one wasn't a troon and didn't have a manifesto.

Is there a point to this that I'm not understanding?

The Washington Post is a low grade tabloid at this point. Releasing crime scene photos just glamorizes the whole thing and inspires copycats.

Schizo theory time: this is part of a push to get bipartisan support for an upcoming federal law that makes it so the government can seize materials related to mass shooting incidents and keep the public from seeing them indefinitely.

Think that the government shouldn’t control the flow of information? You must be some sicko who wants to watch children get murdered!

“We have to show the horror’s of gun violence by showing the bodies of dead children.”

Nigger, no. We all know it’s horrific and disgusting, we don’t need fucking visual evidence to “assure” us or whatever.

Just remember

Journalist posting something for money and propaganda = good
Kiwi Farms users posting something for fun and news = bad

Man, I think somebody in the WaPo newsroom got a visit from the Good Idea Fairy after Crowder released the manifesto.

This strikes me as a more sensational kind of journalism over operating in the public interest; that said, I guess the latter has been dead and buried since before the new millennium.

Is it ethical to archive the shit out of this article?
Yes, they could edit the article after the fact due to outage and try to memoryhole it after the fact. Fuck them if they go through with this. Make sure the public never forgets what they did. Hell, if they don't, make sure everyone remembers they tried to do it.

What a strange idea. What the fuck even is the point? This isn't controversial info people have been asking for like say Sandy Hook evidence or Nashville Pooner motives or something. The only angle I can think of is either some extremely low IQ attempt at psyops for gun control by someone who thinks the WaPo is worth even the paper the very few physical copies it still puts out is, or a extreme low temperature tabloid play by Bezos to increase the relevance of his little tabloid rag via outrage publicity.

I think it might be a way to stop schizos from being schizos screeching about "false flags!!" That is the only reason I could think of.
