Warcraft Movie

Honestly I had zero hopes for this movie I figured it was gonna be awful...I stand corrected I saw it last night and it was actually really good...for wow players there's so many little easter eggs you'll recognize from the games..I was pleasantly surprised anyone who has played wow I think would enjoy this movie just my humble opinion

Seeing the other reviews on here seems like I'm in the minority but damn it I don't care I enjoyed it and the cgi meshed well with the live action maybe I'm by myself but I liked it.

Blizzard has too much of an erection for the Horde to do that now.

Apparently too much of an erection to make a successful movie franchise too. I mean I was always a Hordie throughout the series' life and disliked how the common misconceptiion of Alliance players in WoW was that the Horde was always evil, but it's the best way to start up your movie series so you can show the Alliance side as an initial eyecatcher.

If it were me I'd have left in a couple of uncertain bits like Draka releasing Thrall down the river just to keep people wondering if the Horde are truly evil, but otherwise show it as a "defense-of-Azeroth" kind of thing. Show the effects of Mannoroth's influence wearing off on the Orc prisoners and how much they change as a consequence in a later film.

Like I said, I thought it was an okay action film, but I can understand the criticism that there were way too many characters vying for attention when some simply weren't needed. Dividing time between the Human and Orc factions meant that characters came out wafer-thin in terms of development. I suppose it doesn't matter since all these characters are going to be stripped away if they continue down the Warcraft storyline, but it certainly would have made watching it a better experience.

In the scene where Anduin checks on his injured son, was Callan fully torqued or was that just a very unfortunate wrinkle in his clothing?
