I stopped playing when they ruined the cool space robots by making the operators the average Lincoln Park fan. Shame to see they've gotten even gayer, but I'm glad I stopped while it was ahead. I hear it's an open world game now and the grinds are even worse than plasmids for dojo shit were?
Good thing there's plenty of other things to complain about when talking to people about WF because I don't think I could hide my powerlevel when talking about TLL.
It's a shame too because one of the last couple updates (the one where they went more in-depth on how the FTL drives work and their relation to the Man in the Wall) was...not terrible? Rate me optimistic but after the garbage they had churned out for years it was refreshing to see them try to have a quest with more than 0 substance (although even then WF 1999 and the random gay stuff outta nowhere was stupid)
I stopped playing when the story started to go incomprehensibly insane, and when they started to replace older game assets.
Gotta love how they changed the default Braton to be more Tenno themed but they didn't even change the original alternate skins which were Corpus themed.
And speaking of the Corpus, there's also that one time they began replacing older Corpus lockers and control panels with new versions that suited the Orb Vallis (Corpus open world location).
Not that i'm complaining, I would rather deal with this than witness my favorite maps get completely torn up and rewritten in the name of "revamps". It's just that they just look out of place.
I promised myself I was only going to setup a post site hack account to lurk/track the rekeita trashfire, but this shit hits me right in my memory balls.
The game was only good early on and was at it's peak when they fucked up the bloom effects and every run was like a new years fireworks show (shit was really fucking cool, kinda like FC3 BloodDragon style lights an action). I kicked it over again a couple of years ago just to satiate my curiosity, my expectations could not have been low enough. The whole game had become a complete clusterfuck of purchasable content, it was mind boggling trying to wrap my head around what the fuck had actually changed and possibly the biggest hurdle was working out how the fuck to even interact with the new UI.
After giving up on making any changes to my old build, out of overwhelming confusion. I decided to just drop in and try a deployment with the shit my OG build was running, only to be greeted with so many universes/missions (or whatever the fuck they are calling it now) that I had no idea where to go. Ended up remembering the initial missions and decided to give them a 'fuck it' run for the memories. Browsing the missions I noted an extremely heathy player base of 0 users in all but one of those that I browsed. I jumped into a random empty mission and the game started, bounced around for maybe 10 - 15 minutes, closed the game and uninstalled. The whole thing felt dead, it was akin to walking through a casino with all the lights and gaming machines on, but there was just nobody there. A hearty chuckle that the troons decide a game about alien ninja robots or whatever the fuck they are, is something that they identify with enough to co-opt and coat in dilation stink.
Memberberries aside, It's crazy to see that TLL is still a thing after all the bullshit and Greta getting fingered in the A. No idea what the connection between the two is outside troons trooning and apparently ones who identify as alien ninja robots or what the fuck ever, have enough of a heightened statistical risk to become an hero that it warrants a faggot fest in a ninja robot assassin game. I wish then a merry drop and a sudden stop.
It's all so tiresome,
TTD and the rest
We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming
Doesn't surprise me in the slightest honestly, the game was a leader in wokeness more than 2 years ago with all their faggot streams and diversity hire casters. Good thing all the tranny shit didn't really make a big difference because some Warframes were gender-less even before it was cool and you couldn't really tell gender unless the name suggested it(Octavia, Titania etc).
At the very least, DE did manage to create a warframe where they/them pronouns made actual sense due to it being three unnamed warframes stitched together (Xaku).
The mention of TLL is worrisome given their track record of killing more trannies than us.
Aside from all the gay tranny shit, I still find the game enjoyable. I still got some catching up to do.
In a normal world devs would see this reaction and go "perhaps people don't want to see this in their escapist hobby" then they would stop it. Fuck those faggots forcing it upon everyone, I hope they get super strain mega ultra double nigger aids.
Being five years clean of Warframe after playing the game since the original beta release in 2012, and being a part of the #1 clan in the game with that status allowing us regular visits from the developers asking for advice and feedback on the game, seeing this in the community happenings thread feels like a ghost of my past coming back to haunt me. Some might say that DE crossed the Rubicon with this one: "Things might have been bad before but now it's fucking over!!!" No. DE have been operating on incompetency, shortsightedness, and malice for the better part of a decade. They have made numerous rash and terrible decisions in the past and they will continue to fuck up their game and lash out at their community for as long as retards keep funding them with plat and prime access.
Me having followed this game since release and being part of the "undesirables" in the community, I have collected a wealth of evidence pertaining to DE's faggotry. And from scrolling through both this thread and the general Warframe thread, I can see that none of what I have has been shared before. So, both to vent myself and to show the thread just how petty DE can be, I'd like to share some of the highlights of baffling decisions and statements made by the company during my time playing the game. And I know archival is king, but everything I have is from 5-12 years ago, before myself or anyone else involved with these situations knew the proper protocol for dealing with Internet autism, so forgive me if anything featured here was hosted on an archivable medium and not archived.
Side note: DE uses the term "exploit" for any synergy between different mechanics that they themselves hadn't anticipated. Mag's greedy pull dragging energy orbs to Mesa during her Peacemaker was an "exploit", as was Loki using Switch Teleport to drop the insanely tanky amalgam enemies into bottomless pits during their introduction event.
This is what Glen looks like by the way:
Pretending to be a small indie company was a common practice at DE to deflect criticism despite them having a workforce that's hundreds strong.
A random guy walked into DE's office and was treated with a free lunch as well as all of the details of their then unannounced game Keystone. The game was eventually announced and featured a closed beta but never saw the light of day after that. (A)
Octavia is also named after the My Little Pony character, but I don't have an autistic collage for that.
This image is a brief retelling of my clan's history with the game, the one that would be regularly visited by Scott and Steve as they came looking for advice on balancing, bug fixes, and feedback for new content. If you don't care about any of that, the only interesting part for you would be the screenshot of the in-game clan chat where Steve outright calls the game a "minimum viable product". Even back in 2014 they knew they didn't have a clear vision for what Warframe was supposed to be. It was always a rat race to stay afloat by adding feature after feature, never stopping to fix what was broken or to integrate these systems properly with each other.
I have more, but looking through things now, the rest of it is either auxiliary information for some of the community staff drama that was already discussed and concluded in the thread years ago, or memes and criticisms of the game itself that wouldn't mean anything to someone who hasn't been following Warframe for years now. I could take the time to explain it, go on an autistic tirade like that drunken uncle you only see on holidays, but I've stared down my demons long enough for one day. I'm free of Warframe, free of all this autism, and that's the way it's going to stay.
It was always a rat race to stay afloat by adding feature after feature, never stopping to fix what was broken or to integrate these systems properly with each other.
This is what killed the game for me. It became completely incomprehensible over time. How many types of currencies and resources are they up to now? I bet they've cracked 100.
I stopped playing when they ruined the cool space robots by making the operators the average Lincoln Park fan. Shame to see they've gotten even gayer, but I'm glad I stopped while it was ahead. I hear it's an open world game now and the grinds are even worse than plasmids for dojo shit were?
I got into the game only a couple years ago, even if I had some problems I could overlook it since the fantasy of being one of many space-knights/ninjas sealed inside of a bio-mechanical suit of power armor was cool, but I dropped the game when the whole operator thing was revealed in some story quest.
That whole annoying chosen one, actually just a super powered human thing annoyed me, is it too much to ask for my character to just be A Tenno, not THE Tenno, some legendary chosen hero/victim of the void or whatever was going on, I don't hate the idea of the main story, but what they went with completely killed the fantasy that attracted to me in the game in the first place.
I sticked it out long enough to see the Sentients though, they were cool and Hunhow did nothing wrong.
What the fuck? Isn't it common knowledge that Total Trans Lifeline is a massive fucking homicidal fraud org by now? Am I missing something here, or are those people actually managing to dodge reponsibility this much? Because last time I checked they were on everybody's shitlist.
Butchers will hack off a vulnerable man or woman's bits. When they're obviously distressed because they've been lied to and call a supposed lifeline they get fuck all help. Then when they want to detrans the rest of the cult will burn them at the stake as heretics. And then they have the audacity to say it's us who kill trannies. I've never killed a tranny, would never want to kill a tranny, and in fact I may have inadvertently saved one or two just by being real.
I pray that God does not give those people their terrible due in full, but if the Lord wills it so be it.
Nope. The Wikipedia for TLL basically says the bad people all left and pinkie swore to give the money back eventually, so it's all good and aboveboard now. You can bet that's the extent of the research these people did on it.
