Everyone says steel path is hard and then you get adaptation and gloom or perma overguard or 100% dmg res and then laugh and laugh and laugh.
Speaking of overpowered things like Gloom, I just want to tell everyone that can, go get 50 mother tokens and get Sentient Surge from Sister. Fuck that token market, Ocucor is hilarious. Also, as someone who picked Volt to start, fuck these Volt players who just spam his speed skill, especially on small maps. I love slamming into walls and doorframes because I randomly move much faster. Shock Trooper/Discharge spam and actually be useful to your teammates.

Also fuck all these Columbus Day players, was trying too get started on the Steel Path Circuit, but every team it gave me was mostly dumb fucks who had no business playing Steel Path. I couldn't even Styanax overshield these guys to success because no one else could kill anything. There's not even particularly good incarnons this week.

As a somewhat still new player i can tell you that the game early on will just be unlocking the star map and going from planet to planet. The story mostly doesnt make sense and youre just thrusted into things but they start to drip feed you story and lore through quests and codex entries. My main gripe as others stated is that small inventory size for weapons and warframes. As for the game itself, is a fun shooter to just play while having something in the background. I would recommend it if you dont mind the long ass crafting times, like 3rd person shooters and youre willing to deal with dumb people that dont do the fucking objective.
Once you get rolling and have enough resources to just build massive amounts of gear it's not so bad, but it sucks early. Especially since DE just throws you into the deep end and explains nothing. If you like shotguns, get a Hek, that guy carried me through a lot of the star map. If you're in a guild, see if you can sweet talk someone into getting you the Scattered Justice mod. +200% Multishot is stupid good. I refuse to sell it or the Atterax I used, purely sentimental reasons.

I prefer my opticor with a perfect riven to get 103% crit + 15% vigilante crit and my atomos incarnon primary merciless with 100% stat atomos incarnon with cascadia empowered.

It's like having a bolt action rifle but with laser and an explosion, and a flamethrower.

I'm trying to get shit for companions right now since my nephew wants to play but uh, what the fuck is that content gate. I don't want to hunt for animals for that shit.
So we're just void farming.

I'm also curious about making a caliban or turning my Rhino P into a buffbot via roar + Thermal Sunder augment. Stomp is a shit 4 anyways. But I am once again getting gated by umbral forma.

I don't know what I'd Helminth over on Caliban, all of his abilities are useful now.

I'd subsume over his 1 with the Citrine ability if you want to do more support. His 4 is decent CC with range and his augment can help keep overshields up and citrine will just generate orbs for you.

Can these void relics PLEASE fucking drop baruuk parts.
No, it's always what you don't need. All I need from the current batch is the Okina Prime Blueprint. That's it, but I can't have it. Fortunately, Protea stuff should be around for awhile. I guess I'll have to get back to the Apollo grind at some point. I am still amused they punted on Xaku and Lavos Prime and just jumped over to Sevagoth.

DE said that they didn't have good ideas for the prime designs, which I am inclined to believe with how underwhelming some of the prime versions are. I also think they're holding out for the holidays for Xaku or Lavos to try and milk some money off prime access because the people that love Xaku, LOVE Xaku and pCedo will just print them money.

Friend convinced me to try Warframe again since I haven't played it in 9 years.
Logged in and my account is banned until 2035.

At least I've got a better excuse now.
I had the exact same issue when I came back from a similar length hiatus. Apparently there was a fuckup on DE's end some years ago and a bunch of accounts got banned until 2035 in a glitch, although when I raised my ticket I wasn't accused of running a cheating program.

I got the free Caliban. How do you play him?
Get a high damage heat/toxic/slash weapon and use your cannon minions (not the spinney guys it starts you on, but the next one) to give you infinite shields and additional status damage and press your 4 to armor strip. And your build should be what Love Machine said.
Nourish over his one and run him high strength low efficency with energy nexus.

Skill issue.

I only really do SP circuit if i see that i have a good damage frame on rotation or a gunframe + usable weapon where they are good enough to solo for a while. Expert Deep Dives are where shit goes to shit usually.

Skill issue. The reason I went volt is speed and it's kino. I'm sorry you can't adapt to pure unadulterated speed.

Cycle his 3 to Summulysts and keep summoning them, use his 1 to dash through groups of enemies, hitting four restores your energy, 2 for crowd control, and his 4 when you want groups in front of you to explode.

Skill issue.

On Helene? Where the fuck are you going?

Sorry man but ill have to agree. As a Volt(not prime) player i can tell you that i spam the speedboost basically almost always since:
>gives me movement
>more damage
>more melee attack speed
>stacks for passive in case i just want to nuke with 4 or single target with 1.

If you cant control your movement because youre going "too fast and crashing int things" that sounds like a skill issue to me. All that said i do am considerate so if someone in the party tells me that it is affecting their ability to play the game, i will consider lessening the spam so that they wont complain and/or ultimately report me.

Meleeing everything to death while your slow self is hiding behind the objective.
Imagine not using Gauss instead of volt.
Gauss is fine but volt has this thing called "being able to steer" while going fast. Plus I've played too much gauss to care anymore.

Literally never happened to me and I find it funny how so few people can deal with going fast. Just stop earlier it's like driving but way less dangerous IRL.
