I should probably tell about my experience when I was into warframe. Maybe 5 years ago. One time I saw a mod in chat. And people were freaking out because it was kind of like seeing a celebrity or something. I said something along the lines of “hey mod, it’s kind of ridiculous about this rule with nezha” for context if you say the words “nezha is a trap” it would mute you for a week. I said this was harsh. The mod responded with something like “I’d rather go burn your house down with you inside it than have the possibility of a single transphobe in my game” I have screenshots of this on my old computer. Six months later or so, I received a personal email from DE saying they had been terminated. I’d like to think I’m the one that finally got this faggot moderator fired. But I later found out They were a known problem for DE. Literally just som soy faced tranny faggot that dated one of the PR girls that DE continues to pretend do anything for the game. There was a YouTube documentary chronicling all their drama. I can’t remember their name like I said this was like 5 years ago. Such a shame to see a good game weighed down with politics of retards. This is a sci fi setting. Probably the only thing where things like multiple gendered or nonbinary things doesn’t have to be a political thing and I tolerate it. But from what I’ve seen even liberals at the time were like “calling someone a trap is usually good natured ribbing” fascinating to see how the core community has been whittled down to even bigger retards

Did this mod happen to have a really edgy-sounding name, by any chance? I think there was only one mod that was publicly terminated by DE, and the others who departed were allowed to do so privately at their own discretion - Telluric, Server and one other girl whose handle I can't recall (FriendzoningMisandrist maybe?) but she had a YT channel under the name "Tegan Ward." My phonebooking game was nonexistent in those days, and I don't think anyone cared enough to fully map the deets of these people.

My bookmarked archives are from a time period around 6 years ago, and I'd want to check the community watch thread before posting a bunch of duplicative crap here. I remember that being a really fun and crazy time. People made an AGGP parody twitter account, archived a bunch of moderator tumblr degeneracy, and one of the community troons (GwendolynChan or something) had an epic meltdown when somebody debunked his favorite Contrapoints video.
